    The Tigers merger is more likely to revert back to the Western Suburbs Magpies than relocate anywhere. Kind of makes sense for them to base themselves in Campbelltown full time. Leichhardt hasn't been a league hotbed for years.

    It's become one big giant Chinese ghetto in the last couple of decades in all honesty. I spent virtually most of my days in the CBD in the mid 2000's up until when I moved in 2015 and if you took out the Harbour you'd swear blind you were in Shanghai. I've been back several times to visit...

    Sydney in general was at its peak in that period then too. It became one giant shithole from 1995 onwards. The only thing the CBD had/has going for it is the Harbour.

    I'd love a team here but a lack of a suitable stadium is a problem. Our two main stadiums have the exact opposite problem, Adelaide Oval is too big and Coopers Stadium is far too small.

    You'd be surprised. The SANFL & WAFL Aussie Rules comps here in Adelaide & Perth get while relatively small bigger crowds than the NSW & Qld Cups get. I've been to three SANFL Grand Finals since I've been here and the Adelaide Oval crowd reaches 30-40K.

    The big issue Coopers has is the location, being hemmed in between Manton & Holden Street makes it impossible to grow any further. Shame really as it's only a Matt Burton 40/20 kick away from Adelaide Entertainment Centre tram stop and Bowden railway station.

    Like I've said before in here the lack of a suitable size stadium makes it hard. Unless Coopers Stadium gets upgraded to twice its current size, it makes having an NRL team here difficult.

    The NRLSA ISC Cup is struggling big time. If the controversy that erupted after the Grand Final is any guide one could say the game is on life support down here.
