    Amazing game, Canberra not getting a play the ball in our half until the last minute is crazy. The control to not give penalties away in their 20 was impressive.     It’s so difficult to keep up on reserve grade. I miss when all three games were played consecutively on game day. How did May go at hooker? He would certainly be a running threat, I know nothing about his passing, and defending in the middle is not easy.

    I know Staines isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but his chase to pull down a middle of the field break was great today and helped turn a bit of a momentum shift. I have always thought he has pretty good defensive awareness, I like that he seems to be improving every week.

    I’m happy to take the points. Barnett’s shot was horrible. The lack of forwards really showed in the second half, but good experience for all the young ones.
