    What is it with people having weddings on finals weekends, tough evening of hiding my phone amongst speeches and ceremony. The to’o try on half time made me interrupt the best man with a “ Hell yeah you go big boy” which whilst awkward really actually helped his shonky speech.

    You are right they could certainly beat us if we give them a chance. I think our confidence has been earned this year though. If we can play our game of tough defence and field positioning we will get the win. South’s are definitely a dangerous team though with a fair bit of frustration...

    A shame for sharkies they did not turn up tonight. South’s and the media will banging on all week about how amazing they are. It will be great to knock them out again.

    Fantastic game, by both teams. Nathan, fish and to’o were amazing. I have to say Kenny really played well and I loved the impact Spencer brought to the game.

    Great to see luai moving freely first game back. Plenty of players seemed to shake off a bit of rust, May, Crichton and to’o showed some good form along with the fish.

    I really hope we can flex our attack tonight. Hopefully we can get both sides of the backline working and scoring tries. New Zealand really should be the perfect sacrificial lamb to get us firing.

    In the first half we were rushing up far to fast on the edges and we’re running to much on the last. We adjusted well in the second half, still got caught on the edges a bit but the repeat sets and pressure led to south’s errors.

    One thing I do love about Martin is he never drops his head. He still throws everything thing in after multiple mistakes.

    I get the running it on the 5th idea but there were a couple of times we were to far out for it to be effective. We should switch to a sliding defence and try for some repeat sets
