    SpoonWatch 2023

Technical question. If we get the spoon this year, is it our 1st, 4th or 7th spoon? St George Dragons have 3, Illawarra Steelers have 3...

    Round 13 - Dolphins

I don't really subscribe to the theory that the refs are to blame for the loss but one thing they got horribly wrong was not awarding an 8 point try for Bird's try. From the NRL rule book: Offence against Try scorer 9. If a player fouls an opponent who is touching down for a try, a penalty kick...

    Round 13 - Dolphins

Agenda against him? Poor Jack. Whatever peoples agenda, the fact is Mark Nicholls, yes Mark Nicholls, ran between two former origin players while we were defending our line and neither laid a hand on him.

    Round 13 - Dolphins

Yep, the ref wasn't the one who let Nicholls score (although he did as much to stop the try as Bird and DeBelin) or who made a mental midget like De Belin the captain. I'd say Jason Ryles biggest fear is that we do give him 5 years and he's locked into this mess for such a long time.

    Sack Griffin

It seems the only high points we have these days is when another shit coach is about to be sacked.

    New recruits for 2023

The one bloke Amone should be looking at, in more ways than one, is Dylan Brown. They're similar body shapes (Amone is a little bigger) but Brown's involvement on both sides of the ball is light years ahead - 145 running metres to 65 per game, twice as many tackles a game at 93% to 76%, 10 try...

Rugby Australia to target top NRL talent

I suppose if his defence is questionable rugby might be the best place for him.
