    Agreed, and to be clear, I generally use "edge forward" and "middle forward", but I think that can over simplify the roles as there is still a distinction in that tweener position, and as such I add "lock" as a third role in the forward pack (well fourth when you add hooker). But that's me

    I agree to a large extent but I still think there's still some distinction from lock to prop. I.e. mannah won't ever wear the 13, and back row and lock are more likely to be interchangeable.

    Gutho knows his price has gone up. Our salary cap is very, very healthy but it's whether we're willing to pay the price that everyone wants.

    if the spot is vacant AND we don't have another half, I'd suspect it'd be Gennings, unless BA has greater confidence in Auva'a on the wing. hopefully the prediction/information is somehow wrong, however.

    if Hunt did come to us, it won't be a problem. word is there'll be an open wing spot for most, if not all of 2017 in a few weeks time. hence my hypothetical question about an open wing spot the other day.

    Who do I have that you don't? Also I know he's not first grade squad, but I'll add Blaise Barnes in brackets. He'll move into the NYC five eighth position about 6 rounds into 2017 I'm told (same manager as Tepai). Not part of the official squad but someone we'll keep a close eye on.
