To throw a rumour in the mix, from FB so probably has no legs...

Dylan Napa has requested a release from the Roosters, wants to return to Qld and the broncos have a nice big contract waiting for him. Roosters playing hardball but Napa wants out.

Ben Hunt in talks with us for 2018 onwards and close to a deal, but if Napa deal goes through they'll need the cash so will release him to us for 2017.

Again, likelihood minor but we have been short on rumours and full on 'stuff' in this thread lately

if the spot is vacant AND we don't have another half, I'd suspect it'd be Gennings, unless BA has greater confidence in Auva'a on the wing.

And if we have a wing spot vacant AND we do have another half, then gutho goes back on the wing? It seems simple but I think most on here see this as a waste of gutho even though that's pretty much what he came here for 12 months ago.

I think Gutherson and French are equally suited to fullback, and probably equally wasted on the wing. The difference is Gutherson, with his height and strength, is much better suited to the wing than is French. So I would play French at fullback and Gutherson on the wing.

True but also French is a better finisher which js probably more crucital for a winger .
I would prefer French to Guth on the wing

Re Napa to Brissy, there was talk about this a few weeks ago. It would seem that where there's smoke etc. It might be part of the 3 year conspiracy to lure Hayne there. Maybe Rothfield is about to reappear.
