    James Schiller

It is a real shame that CC and JF players miss a year of development, I’d imagine game wise Schiller would be playing well within himself but does anyone know if the players eligible for these squads still train together and do weight sessions together and/or follow special diets etc, because if...

    NRL talent scouts

I am not a fan of criticising people’s opinions but I’ll make an exception. I vote for Freddy because I think he will see more potential in Lomax as a back than he would in Aitken. IMO the main strengths of players like Aitken, Rav and JP are that they are strong ball runners. Whereas players...

Giant gun Jason Saab to ditch Mary’s Dragons as rivals circle

IMO Garrick has more ups than our current wingers, atleast for now a upgrade on Saab

    Cody Ramsey

Only seen him in the 9s. Of course it’s hard to judge and many come through as prospects but just don’t make it. I’m hopeful and based only my observations limited as they are is that one thing, one very important thing stood out for me with this kid. I watched as he committed himself %100 to...

Benji Marshall wants to extend playing career with Dragons

I can see Dragons recruitment being all over this. Benji’s versatility and experience would be invaluable. Also I think we should move Dufty to five eight and recruit an experienced fullback and I’m sure we could convince Gary Jack to pull on the jumper again plenty of experience and a former...

Morris Twins - Less than $300,000 a season

Keary like all Roosters recruits was a proven winner, having played in 2 winning grand finals before entering the chook pen, they knew what they were getting, not unlike Cronk, Crichton, Tedesco etc etc etc. (Tedesco being a tigers icon is almost a forgotten and now tainted memory) None of us...

    Get ****ed and ****off

Yep I think we are not alone. And whether we admit it or not many of us do as parents, coaches, spectators can subconsciously send out negativity that I believe youngsters absorb. Even silence after a loss is detectable as disappointment. But long term losses are unavoidably negative. I...

    Best and worst commentator?

Cant stomach Blocker or Gould. To me I think both are anti Dragons though many disagree. There’s something about Sterlo that I can bear but don’t reckon he is a great commentator. Don’t mind Ray Warren. Don’t mind certain commentary from Johns and the odd comical moments of Fittler.

    Get ****ed and ****off

Not sure who coined the phrase but we really are a mess at the moment. A few months ago I posted a short story of how I took my teenage son to watch the Dragons play Canberra at WIN stadium. It was a freezing cold night. My son, who has no interest in league, never spoke the entire game. He...

Morris Twins - Less than $300,000 a season

Only at the Roosters would you see last years State of Origin centre sign for under $300k. Nothing suspicious going on. Move along. Nothing too see here people. Move along.

    What Position Did You Play?

Thinking about it I done a full 360. In juniors (including school games) was always a fullback. Unfortunately Wasnt enough players to field a team from about 13 to 17. Oddly enough in under 18s played a full season at five eight. As an adult was initially seen as a winger and a quite abit of...

    Round 14 vs Eels

I think the Dragons will lift but who knows - You would think that incentive to play hard would of been v the Roosters reserve grade team with everything to play for. I think most of the praise put out for Mary comes from media who aren’t Dragon supporters, so they’ve been happy to see him kept...

    Reinstate McGregor

It’s fair to say people can have different options and we need to respect that but to suggest a head coach is not accountable for the continuation of sub-standard performances is so inconceivable that thread has to be a s@#t stir.

    Pangai Jr

Our forward domination has dwindled drastically. We really need some dominant (ideally 2 first grade quality) forwards and TPJ has shown he can be that aggressive powerful forward. He seems abit like Tariq and has lost his way but who knows if JDB is available then those 3 could feed off one...
