    Farewell

Ha, ha. Sorry not being ignorant but just spotted your post. To be honest he is very elderly and definitely from a bigone era. It won’t be easy but I 100% will engage him on Souths. I’m sure he still looks in on them. He is very brief now-a-days and is focused on the fact his children have...

    Team List Tuesday

It’s been a painfully slow process but finally I’m beginning to sense a change in the air at the Dragons. It would be so good right now to get a win. A win could really ignite belief in what looks a step in the right direction for promoting promising backline players. A big responsibility for...

    Matt Dufty

Yeah sorry to those who misread my sarcasm and by saying it I wasn’t trying to sugar coat Duftys performances, but highlighting the sudden and mysterious infiltration of spider coated floating bombs inundating our game. I think he’s going well but Hopefully he is aware of the areas in his game...

    The Bench

Masterful plan I must say, but I’m gunna suggest a slight alteration. My figures suggest we need 4 wingers on the bench. 2 wingers are there for a rest (give them a pillow and tell them to lay down) The other 2 wingers directly replace any winger injured during the game. That way when our...

    Matt Dufty

Watching other games and all the wingers and fullbacks have been incredible. Not one error, or uncontested bomb to be seen anywhere. Right.

    Patrick Herbert

Moving back for family makes sense if you are an established player on a good contract. but what I was alluding to in my earlier post is that If rugby league is your l chosen career path and you are in that precarious position of trying to cement a first grade spot (to secure your future) than...

    Round 8 vs Eels

I was about to write something very similar to this but after reading yours I needn’t bother.

    Round 7 vs Roosters

I don’t know why but Mary reminds me of one of those rotating clown heads that you see at the carnival. The ones you put ping pong balls in thier mouths. He’s like a . grinning clown head. Embarrassing really.

    Round 7 vs Roosters

There’s been a few instances in recent games where we have had teams on the ropes but failed to execute basic opportunities (the Rav and Pierra fiasco just another instance) All I could think of was imagine the coach had the nous to put a speedster like Field on the bench. Instead of the...

    Patrick Herbert

Both games ruined by the one sided shit ref calls. Great to see a kid play so well on debut but I find it hard to understand why he would choose to go to the Warriors. They’ve got the best wingers in the comp (although Canberra this year is with them). It’s gunna be very hard for him...

Great to see him play so well in his debut.

    Back 3 issues

Duftys form has been right up there He’s not elite level yet like Tedesco, RTS and TommyT but Dufty has been playing great and like last year gives us hope that we can come back from behind. we all knew were always going to be slightly behind a lot of the teams in wing department. Having...

    Reece Robson

You know we wouldn’t have all these conflicting opinions of untried talent if we only had a coach who would give the potential players a fair go. Until that happens it’s all just dribble.

    RAVALAWA speed freek or bulldozer

Atleast this time we have got a few wins. Back of last season we bandaged our wounded, sent them out to get further hurt whilst losing most of our games. So atleast we are up in that regard. Also If we are talking wounded you can add Friz to that list as he has stayed down a few times in...

Aitken or Lomax, who should be right centre?

This is it in a nutshell and one of the reasons why I believe many fans get frustrated with Mary. Other (more successful) coaches are giving thier youngsters plenty of opportunities. For us it appears we will need an injury to see if Lomax is any good. And it would have to be a centre at that.

    3-2-1 vs Manly

Ok I’ve just given myself an uppercut for a bad reference. Now for all those who missed McInnes in the 3,2,1 it’s your turn to do the same. You only cheating yourself if you don’t..

    3-2-1 vs Manly

Agree. 3 - Hunt. 2. McInnes 1. Vaughan Agree with SaintJimmy, really hard to choose only three this week. It was a war of attrition with the battle being won on the back of effort all across the park. I thought we were very lucky to escape with the win due to the stupidity of not...

    Other Games, Teams & Players...

Early days of course but Canberra have really surprised me. I really thought they would struggle this year due to losing two big units in Boyd and Paulo. But after watching them it’s not hard to see why they are winning. For one Batemans form is even better then the headlines he’s receiving...

MELBOURNE vs EASTS Game - a preview of what it takes to win a Premiership.

After watching, I’d agree there is a gap between us and them but it’s not that big. Melbourne are a very tough side but IMO are weaker without Slater and Cronk. I’ve been most envious of Melbournes wingers but lately they’ve been nothing special. Vunivalu was especially well below his best...
