    Round 10 vs Storm

Tremendous first half effort we were always going to tire suggest NRL insist on each player using head gear rather than persist with these rules we are now officially playing touch football

    The Term 'Joint Venture Club'.

For the record Bennett and now Griffin have come to the joint venture to coach St George:) Possm, time to stop the shit stirring and accept our survival in the NRL is predicated on the club being based in the Illawarra region. We are no longer considered a Sydney Club. Whilst ever the red V...

    The Term 'Joint Venture Club'.

Have to agree with you Leigh, apart from the jersey, the club resembles Illawarra in every respect since Illawarra’s admission into the league over 30 years ago. 2010 was an aberration. When the jersey is finally changed to all red, we will finally be the Illawarra Steel Dragons.

    Jack De Belin

DPP will take a couple of weeks to review the transcript and assess their prospects. Cannot see them pressing for a third trial. At least a quarter of the jury were not convinced JDB is guilty. it’s been a very costly exercise. Time to walk away.

    Adam Clune

Adam is a great backup and is capable of filling in where necessary but Sullivan/Amone are on the verge of overtaking Adam in the pecking order very soon.

    Round 9 vs Dogs

Saw the last 25 minutes. Fegai bothers and Amone did very well. Granted, the Bulldogs will get the spoon this season barring a footballing miracle. They are probably 6-12 months away from starting. All three have size, speed and strength. Cannot see Williame playing first grade again. Was...

    New NRL conference system proposal

Like the idea Unsure though whether there is enough talent to fill another 2 squads

Robotic performance no ability to read the game and adjust

    Adam Clune

Guessing Clune was left out because Hook was concerned we needed bigger bodies in defence against the Roosters

    Matt Dufty

I thought Matt played well yesterday Caught the high ball was sniffing around centre field looking for opportunities Unfortunately for him we lost the go forward battle hence much fewer opportunities

    Round 7 vs Roosters

We started poorly and wasted the early possession the roosters gave us. Disallowed Bird try didn’t help our cause. We lack energy. Our side lacked confidence today. Roosters too classy this time. Good reality check for the boys. Today we looked like a side destined to finish 12th. Let’s...

    Matt Dufty

We know you will give your all today Matt Hope you burn the Roosters today and show us your very best form in all facets of fullback play.

    Sack mcgregor

So so glad this Muppet is no longer our coach Self serving twat, incapable of accepting responsibility for his own decisions and their impact on the club. Weidler, give yourself an upper cut for giving our former fearless leader a forum to peddle his BS.

    Matt Dufty

I think Hook summarised the situation perfectly. Matt’s attacking ability is unquestionable. His positional play, defence and consistency under the high ball and clearing short kicks are the problem. Matt has been good under the high ball lately. He is running out of time to convince the...

    Merrin Retires Effective Immediatley

Well done Meza Classy act in retiring rather than taking cash and a spot on the roster when your heart was no longer in it Congratulations on a great career I hope retirement treats you kindly

    Managing Expectations

After compiling a win streak of 4 in a row, we fell to a big Warriors pack that made very few mistakes. Our team was flat both physically and emotionally after two heavyweight physical encounters with Newcastle and Parra. The team is a work in progress and needs our support. So far they have...

    Round 6 vs Warriors

Our side was flat today. Our forwards were fatigued after the first 20 minutes. The Warriors made very few mistakes. We were a little unlucky with Lomax missing a couple of goal kicks. Dufty again failed to dive on a ball in the in goal area. Too many handling errors. Norman provided zero...

    Hook's Heroes

Joey may be an “immortal” rugby league half back but he is not an expert commentator. Ignoring Hunt’s injury whilst not season ending, and Lawrie’s is another example of media bias against our club.

    2021 - Squad, Signings, Re-signings

It concerns me as well, however I anticipate we will suffer injuries so one extra experienced middle is to me an insurance policy.
