    People say the team needs to be picked on form not combinations but what form players really missed out? Edwards / Gutherson over Teddy? Klemmer? You could argue Walker over Luai but he's been injured and Luai's games running into Origin had been good. There really aren't that many better...

    Luai gonna Luai but tbh given what he's copping on socials he's probably doné pretty well to leave it at that. Definitely getting scapegoated for last night. Some of the ratings are ridiculous. Actually thought he went OK again last night.

    My only criticism of Luai would be several times he made space for himself, instead of putting his foot down, he goes off his left again and straight into the cover defence.

    Convenient argument that one but probably doesn’t stack up considering we got a total of 0 six agains. We got bent over tonight on a few big calls but we’ve had our fair share of being the benter so we can’t complain too hard for being the bentee for once.

    Actually thought Peach had a really strong game with ball and defensively…. But as soon as I saw that ball dribble out, I knew Umina would be balls deep in the keyboard already. Hard to be critical. We ran outta gas but ripped in and hung on. IC is a champ but his use of the bench is strange...

    I think Kenny is doing well for the most part but he seems to be getting overplayed and that’s when he gets understandably sloppy. Playing huge minutes and is involved in every one of them.

    Luke might be struggling for form but IC doesn’t seem to help him. How he didn’t come on at the 30min mark astounds me. Game started to open up and Kenny was out of gas. In saying that, what IC has done with the team is ridiculous

    Would like to see Garner get a prolonged stretch on that left edge. I think his line running could open up a bit of space. Hoskings is going good but we really give him limited opportunities to show what he has other than grunt work. Runs some decent lines that get ignored a lot.

    This is blasphemy but I think I'd be benching Yeo for Murray. The whole Cleary / Yeo thing is a little predictable at the moment even for us. Murray getting behind the markers may give us some momentum and give Cleary some more space and time. Think the criticism of Young and TPJ is overblown...
