    Early days I know but that’ll absolutely do me if Leota starts the season in NSW Cup. Right up there with having money to spend & buying 2 forwards & no outside backs.

    Fui is a capable backrow option. Would of been good to see him for more than 6 minutes in the backrow as opposed to being hung out to dry at centre every time he got an opportunity.

    Umina’s right, Maloney phoned it in for large parts of last year especially post origin, regardless of how many repeat sets he got. I don’t think he’s anywhere near the lose the media thinks he’ll be.

    Yippeeeee, finals! So glad we fired our coach who got us there 3 times in 3 years, just so we could miss them the following year & then lower our expectations enough so we think it’s some sort of major achievement in to make it again.

    All this Hook talk is making me miss him. The Hook goin in the dressing rooms early thing has to be one of the most blown out of proportion agenda driven things I’ve ever heard. Absolute non-event that happens at half or full time every single weekend.

    Brimson? Plenty of potential but he’s done diddly squat in first grade. Moylan? In 2016, sure. Holmes? Quality winger. Edwards was easily the equal of any mentioned the back half of last year. Actually he was well superior to those 3.

    Tevaga is seen as a backrower these days isn't he? I think he's injured anyway, but otherwise he's likely lock. Egan will get plenty of time. I assume they paid decent money to get him across there.

    I think the need for a hooker & outside back were on par. Stoked to get Api. The need for a backrower that plays exactly the same as Yeo, Cartwright & Burns or a mid range prop... not so much.

    Walker would’ve been a terrific signing for us & it proves the club is aware there’s a need for a centre / outside back, but we didn’t get him So surely you keep trying to address that same area/position rather than completely changing tact & spending your money on a back rower & FR - assuming...

    I still don't get how you can let go of 2 rep outside backs during the regular season, struggle to find a suitable replacement in house for the remainder of the season & then completely disregard the need for an outside back during the off-season instead choosing to spend money on positions...

    Interesting that many Sharks fans don't seem to rate Xerri as highly as non-sharks fans. Seem to want Dugan & Morris in the centres.
