    TNA SuperThread SPOILERS

Why this company persists with this stupid concept is beyond me. So much garbage reasoning behind it, but, at least EC3 gets a fitting farewell unlike Storm. I wonder who long until EC3 emerges in NXT.

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

The Shield has its merits as a pathway for those coming from Harold Matts through to first grade. It could theoretically give them larger exposure than a local A-grade comp too. I'd propose establishing promotion/relegation between the 2 competitions and only being able to enter one...

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

So Auburn have withdrawn by the looks of it. Interesting with what's happening there. I get that the comp doesn't start until April, but a draw around February wouldn't go astray, if even like gthe current ISP one to confirm the teams and rounds. I thought Shield was done so it staying this...

    TNA SuperThread SPOILERS

They've touted that route since 2005, put the belt on the ex-WWE guy who turns up. It's a shame, as TNA could've been brilliant, but to me, it's just a bush league indy which happens to have a TV deal. Stuck on tape delay and in the one venue for so often is also detrimental.

    TNA SuperThread SPOILERS

Times like these you can't help but lolTNA. Deflect from Morrison's title story to rush the belt onto Aries who got dumped by WWE for being a brat. They've been doing it since 2005 and you'd think they would learn their lesson. Back to 4 sides as well for the ring

    2018 Junior Reps - SG Ball & H Matts

No news at all. No draw yet either. Less than a month until the season starts. I'm sure the clubs would have a copy though. From the alleged SG Ball draw above, it makes me wonder who's missing from the Matts comp - Western Sydney Academy or South West Sydney Academy

    2018 Junior Reps - SG Ball & H Matts

Wests vs Balmain should be interesting, provided the draw is accurate. Hopefully something comes up this week, being just under a month until the comps kick off.

    2018 Junior Reps - SG Ball & H Matts

That's a flawed fixture schedule. Some team could play 9 'weaker' sides and easily qualify for the finals, whilst a 'strong' side could face similarly strong opposition and miss out. It's a tough puzzle to work out with it only being 9 weeks of regular footy and make it fair on all parties...

    2018 Junior Reps - SG Ball & H Matts

The withdrawal of the academy is sad as they were seemingly showing good signs. However, it's good to cull the 'dead-weight' as it is to provide a stronger competition. 17 teams for 9 weeks creates an unbalanced fixture list.

Financials do play a part in those decisions.

    2018 Junior Reps - SG Ball & H Matts

Been a bunch of trial days before Chrissy. Comp usually starts mid-February so hopefully a draw comes out early January to get an idea of what the makeup of the comp will be. You'd have to question if the WA franchise continue participating, all the travel for not much of a reward.

    New State Cups Announce

Well, duh, however there is no confirmation of the teams participating unless you're intertwined in the rumour mill and gossip sites to have knowledge of it. I'm not sure why it's such a big secret from both the NSWRL and QRL. Name your competitions, name the clubs participating. Simple.

2018 NSWRL Senior Comps - ISP, Flegg, RMC, Shield

Laughable. Oh well, not much they can do about it. Only one game broadcast a week, shouldn't, in theory, be too hard to organise it all.

    2018 Intrust Super Cup

Souths Logan for the win!!! Judging by how defending premiers have fared the last few seasons, it'll be intriguing to see how PNG go. Add in to that, the positive impact that their World Cup attendances and team performance saw.

    2018 RLIF Calender

It's not up to Australia to grow the game. It's up to the RLIF to mandate a set of conditions to fulfill international fixtures. If the NRL, as expected, eventually moves Origin to 3 stand alone weekends, then the RLIF would be able to schedule pacific tests on these weekends to satisfy the...
