    Yes an exhibition match between the Demons and West Coast in Portland 1990. Aussie rules followed the old ARL State of Origin held in in the US in 1987 3 years prior. ARL did run with your failed SOO concept and made it our own, i will give you that. We also copied your final series format.

    Its very unrealistic to expect a crowd larger than Dogs/Parra. Its Manly after all. They don't travel, the new metro probably makes it easier for them to travel so lets wait and see how it goes. Anything over 35k would be huge.

    No case for Adelaide. The NRL is not about to make the same mistake the AFL made when it added GCS/GWS. You could argue that in time the Tasmanian AFL team will also be a money pit, wait and see on that one. Adelaide will be a money Pit for the NRL. No thanks.

    WA is the only state i would like the NRL to beam into for Bears games, to help them with exposure across WA. Outside of that i think the NRL has it pretty well spot on.
