    Do you reckon he's a leader? He's a capable forward and certainly gives his all but I don't know if he's a leader. He's really only had 2 full year of first grade since his debut.

    I think that's unlikely. I doubt they were just calling his bluff and hoping he wouldn't be prepared to uproot himself and move interstate.     I don't think he was bought exclusively to play centre though. There was still a question mark about Holmes I think. All the talk was Flanno had bought him as a world class player, not to play a particular position. Either way you're right he's on about 2.5x times what he's worth these days.

    Supposedly they're planning on pairing Chad with Deardon. Isn't he a halfback as well? Chad is probably above average as a halfback but I'd have thought a below average 5/8. Bit of a head scratcher.

    Supposedly he hasn't done any contact work yet. Do any of the medico's no if that type of work is needed for this type of injury? Wouldn't have thought so, but then again I suppose there's a reason he's been no contact up until now.
