    Super league 2018

The worst game in the history of mankind according to Fox.

    Super league 2018

Huddersfield Town are playing at home on Sunday at noon, the groundsman there requires 48 hours to change the pitch markings and prepare the surface etc between RL and soccer so they had no choice but to play on Thursday. Not sure why they didn't just request that the RFL reverse the home and...

Probably best to just ignore everything Catalans related until they remove their coach.

    Sudanese interview

Good to see, hopefully at some point they can get something going back in Sudan and maybe develop in the same way Lebanon has. As for the WC qualifiers, most of the African and South American nations would be a million miles from being able to compete at that level, would be nice for South...

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

Yeah my bad, when I first saw the article it cut off after the quote from Safi. Good on Tas then for helping out.

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

It differentiates them from the Republic of Congo, which is a different country to the west. DRC was formerly Zaire.

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

I know who he is, I don't need to Google him. I'm just confused as to why you're attributing this to him. Again, do you have any evidence that he provided equipment for Congo? Or in fact had any contact with Congo at all, given that he hasn't really been a relevant figure in international RL for...

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

If you can give me a single bit of evidence that Tas Baiteri had anything to do with the establishment of RL in Congo, or anywhere else for that matter, then I will retract my statement.

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

lol what does Tas Baitieri have to do with anything?

    Highlights videos... where are they?

Nobody. That's the problem. Premier Sports is a non-entity. The only other credible network is BT Sports, who have never shown any interest in RL. Unless things change regarding that we don't have anywhere to go apart from Sky.

    Highlights videos... where are they?

Highlights are all over Super League twitter today, I guess they just had to wait until the match replays had run on Sky. Or maybe they just wanted to post them at a relevant time for their audience rather than midnight.

They took over from South Wales Scorpions. It's pretty much the same club.

    Highlights videos... where are they?

Yeah, I know. But again, there's nothing we can do. British RL is literally at Sky's mercy, aside from being a reliable ratings draw we have no leverage on them, and the ratings we do pull count for very little because Southern-based consumer research agencies are telling them and everyone else...

    Highlights videos... where are they?

I agree. I also agree that they shit the bed a little with the last TV negotiations. But you also need to understand that without the Sky contract Super League wouldn't exist and the sport would literally be part-time here. Sky offered a decent increase from the last deal and so the RFL jumped...

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

No coincidence that the number of nations playing has increased by probably 1000% since the internet became a thing.

    Highlights videos... where are they?

I think that's very unlikely, Super League is the second highest rated domestic sports league in the UK after soccer. Unfortunately since Sky changed ownership in 2014 they have treated RL with utter disdain, they've stopped promoting the sport altogether and literally every aspect of the...

Democratic Republic of Congo Joins RLEF

Guessing they've been helped by the Burundi guys given the article mentions that most of the activity is close to the border.
