    ARLC Commission Changes

Grant is a control freak, he wants to be in the room running the show, suffocating his CEO & management in the process. Everything he has touched in the last 24 months has gone to shit, we are now onto our fourth pathways review since the commission came in, the last three have been screwed up...

    QLD Team 2017

If Milford doesn't play there's going to be a big stink by clubs, anyone who can look past the 'whinging Wayne' stuff can recognise its a problem.

I just hope Napa doesn't get carried away & understands there's a fine line between aggression and liability. Myles is not what he use to be. 'bit meh' is being very kind to Lillyman.

That would also be an improvement on the side named, still needs Slater though - hes one player that always makes NSW defence shit themselves.

    QLD Team 2017

Scott is our biggest loss, that front row wouldn't worry many NRL sides.

    QLD Team 2017

I agree Boyd is the form FB in the game, but Slater is to dangerous a player not to find a spot for. I have no doubt Boyd could handle centre, hes a far more mature player than he was in 2008.

    QLD Team 2017

his kicking game is very poor, puts a lot of pressure on Cronk & Smith.

    QLD Team 2017

I wasn't bagging Boyd, but he is more versatile than slater if you want to fit all that class in. Holmes & Slater are special players, O'neil & Chambers aren't.

    QLD Team 2017

Average side, weak bench and front row. O'neil is about as average a player you could find. Should have had Slater and Holmes in there, Boyd & gagai centres, holmes & oates wing & Slater FB. You find room for your best players. Reckon NSW will gain some confidence looking at the Qld team sheet...

    ARLC Commission Changes

all they can do under the current constitution is remove commissioners, not appoint them, unless the commission has failed to replace any vacancies after six months, which would then fall to a special majority of clubs & states to fill the vacancies. On the off chance the commissions numbers...

    ARLC Commission Changes

The QRL and nswrl don't appoint commissioners, nor do they elect chairs, that was merely the process to establish the commission, it isn't how it operates.

    ARLC Commission Changes

So they are biased if they are from nsw, but not biased if they are from qld? The commission appoints commissioners and elects a chairperson, it has nothing to do with where they are from or who previously held the role. The game has already had a former AFL commissioner on the ARLC, who being...

She was ruled ineligible primarily because she was on the NRL Board, as an appointee of news corp.

she has also sponsored the Jillaroos and the women's world cup.

    ARLC Commission Changes

fair call. But Grant was still leading the game when Smith was ceo. The game needs someone new. Katie Page would do a brilliant job and should have been the inaugural chair. Doubt she would want it though.

    ARLC Commission Changes

It's at the stage that, despite the agendas being played in wanting him gone, the game needs him to go so it can move on and get past this petty political bullshit. He should have had the decency to resign when the club funding deal was originally pulled after the NRL discovered they couldn't...

    NRL 2017 TV RATINGS!

in 2015 938k would be one of the highest rating games of the season.

    2017 Crowd Watch

Do clubs care? it's primarily their responsibility to promote their games to grow their crowds to grow their revenue. This is what clubs claim they need the extra funding for, I have my doubts they will do anything different to grow their crowds and in 5 years will still be blaming the NRL.
