I didn't answer an Australian sport to catch you out as the fraud you are. IF you were a RL fan. You would know that RL was on ABC and ch9 for 97 and was the same earlier... Guess you were already at Swans games dribbling shit by then? fraud

Move with the times Grandpa... That is how sport is watched now. No one has money for everything

Yeah but that is the case for all the regional teams anyway. Most years Sydney teams only have a handful of interstate games. So knowing that. I'd rather keep the clubs/TV happy by having local games that rate better. Teams with soft draws will be found out come finals time anyway

because the breakdown for what ad space goes where is unknown DAZN streams sports. Kayo the sports streaming service they bought has an annual revenue of $35m. Given that is the one part they certainly will keep. That is a good starting point Sky News are staying with News limited - so that...

You add production to that aswell. I can't imagine Matty Johns alone isn't on $1m+ a year. F1 is $40m a year

You don't think as a Club your team would love to ensure they get a home game v Broncs and the Other QLD teams every year?

WTF where did I say it wasn't worth it? It is worth $3bn BUT the asset is already costing whatever the loan amount is. They want to limit any further losses or that asset goes

Do you think there is a TV company in this country that doesn't want it? There is a difference between wanting and being able to afford it. What we have seen in the US with NBA and NFL is the future. multiple providers

As opposed to just having $3b lying around? So nothing to back up your claims?

Paramount's issues are due to their content production costs blowing out. But the issue with that deal is If you like soccer then you need Optus and Stan for the bigger League. My point was DAZN now have NBA, NFL, F1 rights in Australia to go with the local stuff. Not sure it makes sense...

You don't think they will run DAZN in place of Kayo? The aim is to build that brand up according to reports

Again because I am certain you are slow I will dumb it down. With ch9 add production costs and the like they are outlaying $130m or so on NRL Revenue is down 1/3rd. And increase for a NRL further eats into that. They have a new CEO and board who have bonus' tied to turning that around. Hence...

for me. I stopped watching free to air when they would debut a 'new' show... that had a whole season or seasons online somewhere. As streaming continues to increase TV will keep dying the slow death we are seeing Merry Christmas
