    Fotuaika is a great young prop at the Titans as well but I haven’t heard people mentioning his name. Titans and Broncos both have to wait another year to offload a bunch of overpaid guys. If they plan well around that they can recover.

    Not that this is an excuse for today, but I have never been a fan of this idea. Just at amateur level I always hated playing a match straight after a long bus-trip let alone a flight. You can feel seriously flat after. I would always avoid it at professional level if they could.

    I really don’t know if this squad looks over the cap. Last year with Cronk and Latrell on top I was sceptical. But this year I don’t see the roster as ridiculous, assuming they got the Morris bros at the bargain rate they were likely going for.

    Right now Pearce is our only good half. He is a huge part of whatever positive vibe we have here. He is as fit and tough as any half in the game and only just turned 31. No-brainer to extend him IMO.

    Ponga can pass to his right from what I’ve seen - just not as well as he freakishly passes to his left. I think he just had a brain-fade yesterday.
