    Because either area is not a city as big as Perth , with the same business opportunities. Remember St George has hellishly long history and they ended up merging with Illawarra.Let alone Wests/Tigers. BTW I'm only putting its out as a suggestion.

    Perth IMO should be autonomous ,they had that right prior to SL. The city is big enough to be stand alone. If we are talking a 19th & 20th team, then the Norths & Jets should be considered in a minor role partnership with a joint venture such as East Tigers, Ipswich or Adelaide down the year...
