I've had Wests supporters try to talk to me (a Bears supporter) like they think they have empathy because the same thing happened to them. It wasn't the same at all for Wests.

If I were executive producer on a movie in this day and age I’d much prefer the safe bet of rebooting an existing IP rather than gambling on an original screenplay.

PNG would benefit from being predominantly gold. Every club using gold uses it secondary or less.

WA and “Parochial” are sounding like the kid in Big Daddy playing cards. “Because I win.”

Is it though? Currently 8 out of 17. Plus assuming PNG don’t stray from their national colours you’d be looking at 3 expansion clubs in a row with red, gold and black

I get it now. WA sporting club colours are irrelevant… unless the club began elsewhere, in which case it needs to be changed just because spite parochial.

Is it? Because if the Wildcats’ brand and colours were Perth from day 1 and the Bears happen to be bringing the same colours then shouldn’t that be a bonus? Or are we shifting the goal posts out of pure spite?

It won't, though the Tigers is a very different kettle of fish. Two clubs forming a new one trying to nod to each identity isn't the same as one being resurrected in a new location. There are plenty of sporting clubs in WA whose identities aren't contingent on adopting state colours.

I'm not that old so white had already been added by the time I started following the game. Not for nothing they first introduced white in 1970. 1908 if collars count.

It could be (and is) some random stock image No resemblance to any Norths logo. The yellow argument has been debated at nauseam in this thread, hopefully PNG being confirmed yesterday is more reason to not bother with yellow at all.

Also it's just a yellow and red bear. No resemblance to the brand.
