    This is spot on. Okay, I've never been to Port Moresby, but my wife has. I have lived in Vanuatu for 17 years, which is nowhere near as bad. These cultures will not change for a LONG time. The govts are just too corrupt to do anything positive!

    I like the idea of an Ipswich [Jets] team, as it is a RL heartland, it is a separate city (although adjoining) to Brisbane... However, unfortunately, I think the NRL will go 'Bombers', which is the worst name for a RL team ever, and has no relevance to Brisbane (AFAIK)... At least Amberley...

    Nah, With Fittler naming Ramien as an 'emerging blue', he's gotta get a shot at FG. I'm thinking he may be a 'breakout success' like Holmes was when he entered the top grade. [Yes, I know Ramien played the WCC game.]

    As much as Pearce is over-rated and should NEVER be selected again for NSW, he is still better than Chad. At least he knows how to straighten the attack. I'd be happy with 7. Pearce, 6. Moylan, 1. Holmes in 2019... 7. Pearce, 6. Chad, 1. Townsend, 2. Holmes in 2018 is still workable.

    Yes. Chad makes a lot of mistakes - dropped ball, errors in judgement in attack... Although I've always despised Pearce (for being a rooster), he does have the ability to set up tries and has a good running game. He's a real good NRL half - but not a real good NSW half! I would prefer Pearce...
