All Blacks v Kangaroos - $50 million match

The all blacks would easily win. When attacking the try line it is union rules so the kangaroos would not have a hope in hell.

Toronto and potential for an NRL replica

Rugby of either code is extremely foreign to Indonesians. Millions would never have even heard of any form of rugby. They enjoy soccer and sports like badminton.

Toronto and potential for an NRL replica

NZ press is reporting a US consortium linked to the NFL has flown in to NZ to investigate buying the Warriors. So you don’t really know what the future does hold...

    ROOS V ALL BLACKS

Stupid idea. I’ve seen it played and it’s not a good look. They essentially switch rules depending on what half the attacking team is in.

Lebanon's rugby league team to receive a ticker tape parade and keys to the city on returning home

Does it have to be American style root beer or will Bundaberg ginger beer be ok?

As noisy as 200,000 regular NRL fans.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

I suspect the seats I could not purchase ages ago have now been released and I’ll be stuck in my less than ideal seats. Same as what happened with the lebanese v France game. Next time this event rolls around I’ll wait until the last minute to purchase for the better seats plus discounts that have...

And going from my experience in Canberra many fans probably aren’t aware it’s on.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

I predict 3500 for Italy v Fiji and 13k for Australia v France. Spoke to more rugby league fans in Canberra today who are just realising games are on in Canberra. They aren’t interested though.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

that is my experience in Canberra too. The marketing hasn’t broken through the day to day noise.

    RLWC Pros and Cons

Con No jerseys for sale in the stadium store in Canberra except for Australian. There was a stream of people asking for French and Lebanese jerseys and they were all being turned away.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

I’ve been to Canberra Stadium over 100 times and the crowd felt bigger than that.

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

I’m in Canberra. I’m angry that I wasn’t able to buy a ticket in a better area (where there are clearly vacant areas). WTF were they thinking? People would have logged on and thought “ only rubbish seats available. I’ll watch on TV”

    RLWC2017 Crowd Watch

Probably around 5k in Canberra. People still coming in
