    I wouldn't think so, but demographically our fan base would be more widespread across Sydney than any other I reckon. I still spend a bit of time in the Eastern Suburbs and anecdotally, there is still good support there.

    Colin Ward (Nelson Hotel) is another I thought of. Also, and I've never been able to actually confirm this, but I believe Cooper Cronk played his very early footy at Bondi United. His dad is in their team of the century and I think Cooper played there when very young before moving to QLD.

    I think their aim is around 10 or so sides, including seniors. Not sure how that's tracking just yet. For A Grade, their aim is to replace Kingsgrove Colts as the feeder team for the players who don't make the cut for 20's each week. Guess they'd play that side in the combined Sydney comp...

    Yeah they folded last year mate - very sad. I actually used to play for them in the '80's and had noticed in recent years they were down to as few as 5 teams or so. They actually won an A Reserves title as recently as 2003 and were quite strong at that time, so not really sure how they...

    Absolute idiots over there mate. Forget them and move on. What you've done is great, but I wonder what appeals more to kids? Maybe that's part of why they continue with it. Anyway, would love to see the club take on a version of what you've done.

    Re. the chooks, they've moved to a new membership system this year, meaning auto rollover of memberships didn't happen. So you have people like me, who gets at least 6 memberships each year not having signed up yet. Numbers do look disappointing just now, but let's see where we end up.
