    Todd Carney

Don't disagree with anything that's been said, but geez he was beautiful to watch in 2010. As a raw talent, he was a sublime athlete and footballer. Really had it all as an attacking player.

    2017 NRL Club Membership

Yeah rollovers begin this month for Roosters. Hurt our total last year as there were no auto renewals due to the new membership system. We signed the former Richmond membership guru and I have to say I'm seeing some good early signs. Members survey already been completed and this year's package...

2010-2016 - Who was the best?

Roosters, I am biased but it seems clear to me. We royally f**ked the following two seasons so we shouldn't even be having this discussion.

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

Well, after watching young Radley closely on Sunday, he looks a good prospect. You never know who will kick on and make it from 20's, but he looks as good a chance as as anyone.

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

KBW, what do you know about Victor Radley? I hear he's another local kid who looks a chance of making it. Do you know which club he's from etc?

    Was Brett Kenny underrated?

Lewis for mine, but only just...Kenny was a genius. Could tackle like a mother f**ker too...very underrated in that department. As for underrated players, Steve Ella as someone else said. Brilliant player and played his career on one leg basically believe it or not. Reckons he lost his pace...

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

Ok fair enough. Hopefully the club and our juniors as a whole can continue to build. Your other point about how we support our juniors rings true. I hear there is bit of a kerfuffle with souffs juniors at the moment with them threatening to not allow our kids to play in their comp next year...

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

I'm pretty sure the 14's came mostly from the Clovelly club, so still Easts juniors? Correct me if I'm wrong. Where did the players from the 15's come from?

Match Discussion: Round 26 vs Broncos @ Suncorp Stadium

We'll try hard but won't be able to match it with the Broncs. Parker's last game too and they never stuff those up...joint will be heaving and they'll be too much for us to handle.

Dr Gary Weiss appointed to ARLC

I worked at Tyndall while Gary was on the board there and had a tiny bit to do with him. Very well regarded. We had a box at the SFS and I remember being there one day and he turned up. He reached for the esky, not realising it hadn't been catered and when he saw it was empty he gave me the...

Easts Amateur Juniors who played NRL.

So Milne has now cracked the top grade for the Dragons so he can be added to the list. Lam junior (Clovelly Crocodiles) is another on the way through. Just represented Australian schoolboys and looks a good prospect. In other good news for Rooster juniors, Paddington Colts just won their GF v...

    Tommy Turbo or Latrell Mitchell

Lattrell, but only because I'm a Rooster Booster. Seriously, they are both sensational talents and I can't believe anyone would criticise either player.

    2016 Membership Discussion

Roosters 14,281 http://membership.roosters.com.au/#CTjPmeM6KBBiEXaw.97 Still almost 3k short of 2014/15 levels, but the lack of renewals hurt as well as an absolute bludger of a season.

Worst Ever Performance in a Preliminary Final?

Roosters '98 definitely up there. Another couple the Roosters were in should cop a mention. 1982 when Parra annihilated us 33-0. To be fair, they were brilliant that day in atrocious conditions, but we were diabolical. We also beat Wests in 1980 41-5. I was at both games.

Have you ever switched support to another team?

Never. Born into the Roosters and that's how it will remain. My brother inexplicably changed to Souffs for about 6 months when he was 7-8. Never let him forget it either...man he hates it to this day that he did that. Always a good laugh.

    NZ 3 2 1s

Yeah it's been that kind of year. I reckon Pearce being out has directly cost us the Canberra, Manly, St George and Warriors (yesterday) games. Warriors (first game) and Panthers were close too but though we lost to better sides on those two occaisions. Frustrating beyond belief.

Sam Burgess returns to South Sydney

Well done - you're spot on. That late run in 2014 was out of this world, but that aside, he's been a very good, but not great forward over his 5 - 6 year NRL career.

    2016 Crowd Watch

I'm heading out to the game. I'll probably regret it, but This is rugby league in all its winter glory. Should not be postponed.

Serious is it just me..... or

We're doing fine. We're less than 4 years into an IC model, afl are closing in on 30 years. The gap is closing exponentially as seen by the parity in the two media deals. Crowds will grow once the stadium strategy is implemented and bedded down. Expansion will happen organically and not...

Have you ever played with, against or coached a player who played NRL?

Played against Colin ward, Brett Gillard and David Webber in the Easts comp late 80's. My younger brother played the likes of fletcher, mellor, McRae and Matt Mitchell (lattrells dad).
