    Yep, the big guys are masters at this. Ask any subbie that works for a civil firm about their payment practices. What surprises me is that the HSG executives are so poor at managing the situation. In real terms its mugs money and yet they are getting hammered for it.

    With the moves announced yesterday, it seems that the Sharks need to get rid of Smith to fit everyone in. I just hope we aren't now kicking the can for Smith to break his contract, the Sharks need to release him FOC.

    In a way it would make perfect sense, the bloke has gone all in every single time, so why wouldn't he be betting the farm again. For me the biggest alarm bell in all this was the reported $300M on stinking horses, the only people who are silly enough to do that are usually funding it with oil...

    I didn't do a great job of explaining myself so I'll try again. The difference between us and the better teams is those three things, we aren't strong enough in each of them. Forget tonight, that's irrelevant, losing mid season games to the raiders and titans when they were going like busteds...

    Already have, not helping. We endured years of sh*t and I expected us to be better than last year, we aren't. Teams are improving, young players are starring in the NRL and we are regressing. When are we going to get our sh*t together as a club and become the force we are supposed to be?

    It never ceases to amaze me how much latitude thurston gets in every game. Rarely is he hit at the line, I remember a couple of games this year when Mullo got belted off the ball just about every time he hit the line Why isn't thurston given the same treatment?

    Refs just want to seal the deal for the cowboys, thurston asks for a penalty and they duly agree. The knights won't ever get much of a go from the refs.

    Hard to believe that with more resources than ever, that refs are getting worse, but they are. I think Harrigan and Raper have completed f*cked the headspace of the current crop.
