The Hayne Plane has crashed and burned

Fair enough, but it wasn't Hayne that got Daniel Anderson or Stephen Kearney fired. It was a new Parramatta board that was too eager to put it's own stamp on the team when Anderson was let go. Then quickly let Stephen Kearney go when board elections were around the corner and the team was faltering.

    Greatest winger ever

ummmm no I'm not. He was a winger who played for Queensland.

    Fresh start for the Warriors?

It is relevant because sacking the coach doesn't always solve the problem as the Warriors have shown. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Scapegoating coaches may make you feel good, but it's not always the answer. The Warriors have changed...

    Neil Henry

Is it Henry or Hayne that is the question? Interesting some Titans figures have also disputed the story that Neil Henry didn't not want Jarryd Hayne at the club when they originally signed him. The Hayne Plane has crashed and burned

Jarryd Hayne on the outer? It may not be the case. If Neil Henry can't resolve his differences with Hayne it may be him who will be shown the door. To be fair to Hayne there are reports he is high maintenance but I don't remember him having a history of troubles with previous coaches unlike...

    Suliasi Vunivalu

Vunivalu has been charged with grade one contrary conduct and will be fined $1,100 with an early guilty plea. He risks a $1,500 fine if he fights the charge and is unsuccessful. So yes he plays next week no suspension.

The annual saloon passage in to the finals thread

Raiders vs Panthers will be a big clash next Sunday could have big implications on top eight make up. By saying that the Raiders also have to play Storm in the last round. They certainly have their work cut out for them if they want to scrape in.

    Greatest winger ever

Michael Hancock played on a lot of good Broncos teams. I wouldn't call him the greatest winger but still was a quality winger. Alan McIndoe was pretty underrated as well.

    Fresh start for the Warriors?

Easy to get on the "Fire the coach" bandwagon. But if Stephen Kearney is fired it will be the fourth coach that has been fired since Ivan Clearly departed. Players are running out excuses fast and frankly something's gotta to give.

The Hayne Plane has crashed and burned

I think focus on Jarryd Hayne is failures is taking a toll on him. He suggested that Neil Henry is not talking to him, and he will talk to his manager about potential exit from the Titans if he feels he is not wanted. The relationship between him and the coach is clearly strained. "TITANS...

    Chris Grevsmuhl

I thought he was being sarcastic. Maybe I misinterpret his post. Anyway it's all good I'm done posting on this topic.

    Chris Grevsmuhl

Fact: Titans wanted to re-sign him. Fact: He had a great season the previous season when he left the Titans. Fact: There was no mention on of discipline issues or drug issues when left the Titans. You can spin it anyway you want, but your argument is made on a lot of assumptions. That can't...

    Spoonwatch 2017

Full credit to the Knights and Nathan Brown, they are not giving up and are putting in to the very end. They are embracing the tag as "spoiler". If you circle in a win before you play them it is at your peril.

    Chris Grevsmuhl

It was James Roberts choice to leave the Titans, and his departure wasn't for disciplinary reasons. Your post doesn't prove anything.

    Chris Grevsmuhl

End of his career? You can only burn so many teams before people tire of you. The NRL can be an unforgiving place as Chris Sandow and others have found out. I can't comment on his potential because I never see him on the field- but Russell Packer is example of someone who has turned his life...

    Greatest winger ever

Oh yeah Brian Bevan for sure. I used to watch all his games he has to be considered the best. ;) Seriously though I looked up the all the century team wingers out of interest and they were Ken Irvine and Brian Bevan. Bevan career started in 1942 and ended in 1964.

    Greatest winger ever

I wouldn't call ET a specialist winger. I think he was more known for playing centre and fullback. He played mainly wing early in his career and for rep teams. The same can be said for Dale Shearer.

    Rumoured Signings

Broncos probably would prefer the Titans were successful on the Gold Coast. Gus Gould has already stated if the NRL can't make the Titans work, pack them up and move them to Brisbane.

    Confirmed Signings

Gold Coast Titans officially announced the signing of Brenton Lawrence on a 2 year deal starting in 2018. http://www.titans.com.au/news/2017/08/08/titans_to_welcome_ba.html

    Greatest winger ever

Merrit wasn't shit. He was a good club man, he just wasn't in the realms of state of origin ability.
