    Round 8 v Canberra

So incredibly frustrating... four games in a row we could have won but we just can't take any opportunities and are so stupid with our ill-discipline.

    Round 8 v Canberra

Katoa along with relieving Egan provides versatility - he can play hooker, lock, in the halves and potentially at second row - need some form of versatility. Luai does this too obviously but only covers backline and isn't a hooker.

    Matts Semi live

Yep every pass and offload was sticking it was beautiful to watch and just as pleasing was their resilience in defence. Charlie Staines has some serious pace, Stephen Crichton and Glenn McGrady are both great finishers and just as good at sparking plays in attack. Forwards have a good mix of...

Rumoured and Confirmed signings - Part 4

Yeah don't think Latu is what we need ATM. We don't need a forward with skills and flair what we need right now is someone dependable and consistent. Someone who can run big meters too would be great of course.

    Round 7 V Souths

So by the looks of it, no Blore or Leniu for JF - does that mean they'll be in the Cup team?

    Panthers vs Jets

I have always thought of him as a fill-in centre when someone goes down injured during a game, you're definitely right.

    Panthers vs Jets

Hope Ivan saw that last effort in defence from Fuimaono - he isn't a centre. Lacks lateral movement. We have better options.

    Panthers vs Jets

Aekins is the explosive and ball-playing fullback that we need. Really don't want to lose him to another club, personally I'd shift DWZ to centres to partner his brother on the wing and have Aekins at FB. Edwards has also been quite good.

    Round 6 vs Sharks

The late collapse in defence was certainly disappointing but Cronulla could do nothing right in the first half and we need to be much better at putting teams to the sword - two tries wasn't going to cut it. They didn't even bother going for the high ball, were dropping it all over the place and...

    Round 6 vs Sharks

We haven't got a penalty since the 18th minute.

    Round 6 vs Sharks

With Whare off have they seriously got Yeo marking Xerri - seems a complete mismatch in speed.

    Round 6 vs Sharks

Goes without saying the first try in this second half is so important.

    Round 6 vs Sharks

Really wish we scored one more try off that last 40/20 because one more try would've been a better indication of the performances at the amount.

    Round 6 vs Sharks

Michael Chammas reporting in his column today that Sele was dropped for sleeping through his alarm and missing recovery session earlier in the week.

    Round 6 vs Sharks

    Is Sele injured?

    Round 6 vs Sharks

Saw someone on FB say they talked to Tim Grant today and he said he, MWZ and Egan were all rested from NSW Cup in case they were needed for the NRL game on Thursday since it'd be a short turnaround. I think we all knew this but would think that pretty much confirms no Aekins this week.

    Round 5 Vs Titans

Despite not being at their best, I can only see Cronulla bouncing back hard at this rate. They love playing us and I can't see it being close given they are like Melbourne in being great at frustrating teams into defeat with their defence. Potential good news in Fifita picking up an injury...

    Round 5 Vs Titans

Heard them say Maloney has forced the most dropouts in the comp (15) this year. While Luai definitely offers more in attack I'd want to make sure he's experienced enough to build pressure at this point in his career before ditching Jimmy.

    Round 5 Vs Titans

Yeah Luai is definitely not a hooker. Can't pass off the ground, just doesn't look comfortable. Need him in broken play - it's a tricky one, may not be a spot until Maloney leaves.
