AOB’s Great Team Cull of 2020

Sigh. He isn’t a million dollar half. He literally isn’t being paid a million dollars by us.

AOB’s Great Team Cull of 2020

Agree that we need to start developing Crossland at 6 now. Pearce has never had a worker next to him in the halves and isn’t good enough to do it all himself. Crossland has shown he could be really good. 1. Ponga 6. Crossland 7. Pearce 9. Brailey Could be pretty good!

AOB’s Great Team Cull of 2020

So, given the coach was happy with his effort today and he’s getting another few years contract after this one, let’s assume he’s safe. Next!

    Not a million dollar half.

AOB’s Great Team Cull of 2020

I would have thought it would have taken longer than 7 minutes to deflect off the other 16 in the squad and keep flogging the dead horse...

Match Discussion: Round 12 vs Storm @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

So, Crossland and Pearce in the halves and Mann at Hooker - simple. I agree that Pearce can’t carry a utility at 6. Said as much in previous weeks.

Coach doesn’t agree. Maybe he needs to spend some time in here for some clarity?

AOB’s Great Team Cull of 2020

AOB said during the week that players were “playing for their lives” and heads will roll if they don’t perform. so, they were worse than last week against the Dogs. So let’s play “whose career is done (in the short term at least)”. Let’s just assume Pearce is cut for the sake of the post. You...

Match Discussion: Round 12 vs Storm @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity? All bar the Roosters are games coming up that should play us into form. You didn’t answer my question. Hoy and Crossland are going to get us into the finals?

Guarantee Pearce doesn’t get dropped for the rest of the year.

God there are some sooks in here. I’ve been part of this forum for 17 years and seen some pretty dire seasons, but the whinging now is as bad as it’s ever been.

Match Discussion: Round 12 vs Storm @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

I mean, the Storm are on the top of the ladder and we were $5 on the TAB against them. It was pretty decent competition. Agree the Dogs is a game we should have won...

Match Discussion: Round 12 vs Storm @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

I don’t know - I’d rather they have a go rather than give up the season. Might be just me though.

Match Discussion: Round 12 vs Storm @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

We are still in the top 8 and play the Tigers, Eagles, Cowboys, Warriors, Sharks, Roosters, Dragons and Titans, and you want to blood some young blokes rather than try and win some games? Righto...

I am serious. So Hoy and Crossland are going to get us to the finals are they?

And put who in? I mean, come up with big ideas, but back them up with a solution. That’s not really this forums way though, to be fair.

I was literally bagging the defence. Keep up.

Match Discussion: Round 12 vs Storm @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

All that work put into defence earlier in the season seems to have been forgotten. Blame that for the loss instead of the whipping boy, doomsdayers.

If dollars equated to who should win, the Storm never, ever loses.
