NRL boss pledges solid future for all

Typical armchair critic; all bluster and hyperbole. Good luck trying to convince people the ARLC are doing an average job; unfortunately most people have a bit better judgement than yourself.

    Ch9 plumbs new depths

I muted the TV before I eventually turned it off. Hadley is such a self-serving f*ck who puts his own ego before the game; I have no patience with him anymore. IMHO David Gyngell comes across as an arrogant dinosaur incapable of correcting his course of running Channel 9 into the ground by...

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

kinda fun watching the DT burn their bridges so spectacularly. Time for new blood in the Sydney NRL media; sick of seeing these hacks getting airtime on radio + TV as well.

Interesting read RE: ASADA investigation into AFL 6 years ago http://www.smh.com.au/news/sport/how-demetriou-left-the-afl-with-egg-on-its-face-and-an-apology-tomake/2007/02/23/1171734019083.html?page=fullpage#contentSwap1

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

I think the point El Diablo is making is, News Ltd employs the types of R. Wilson (she is in a senior position for DT I think?) She has been caught DUI multiple times, so is therefore of questionable morals and character, but like most DT scum, proceeds to take the high moral ground on issues...

    Ricky Stuart

Yeah that was before he forgot how to win  But Norman is a good buy. He will become a better play yet.

I think he is talking to some guy named sook?

Graham should have dressed up, not that a big deal really. However, no way I'm going to listen to News Ltd no matter how right they are. They lost the right to speak on behalf of or to the NRL community. They can go suck a fat one.

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

:lol: News Ltd can suck a fat one. Absolute scum think they can still lecture the NRL community on standards of any kind.

There is always more to a story when it's being told by the Telecrap.

    Steve Matai

With a swinging arm like that, surely just asking for trouble. Manly just grubby, especially when losing.

John Orchard ‏@DrJohnOrchard Took WADA 7 years to nail Armstrong, so I don't think a 2 year delay is going to worry ASADA if they can prove guilt http://www.sportal.com.au/league-news-display/gallen-not-happy-with-asada-232774?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter ? Retweeted by...

ARLC eyes $40m surplus to invest in game’s future

Taking control of the tickets would be a smart business decision - but is it possible? What are the existing contractual agreements venues have with Ticketek?

    Ricky Stuart

Ricky's teams are also unfairly targeted by refs; therefore all refs should report to Ricky for questioning post game. Ricky is also such a great coach that he refuses to know anything about the opposition, so he can think about himself some more.

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

No one is saying he doesn't know what he is talking about; he clearly does. No one disputes the theory/logic of it either, just the DT announced it as if it was gospel. DT are trying to vindicate themselves and it's just petty. Apparently Roy Masters caught on long before DT and he passed on...

Not sure Professor Kenneth Ho's views are widely known/agreed upon amongst his peers if the Cancer Council and Syd uni professor John Baxter are anything to go by. I don't doubt they're all right - the only one in the wrong is the Telecrap, this article is no way redeems them for their "other"...

Guess the AFL are also more cowardly they will sacrifice truth for appearances. I wouldn't expect NRL to hand out penalties if ASADA haven't made a compelling case. Just wish ASADA would make a case actually, instead of f**k!ng around.

Organised crime and drugs in sport investigation part III

Can WADA step in like that? The AFL will act based on both ASADA info & internal report and hand out penalties accordingly. The AFL has a frustrating way of smelling like roses no matter what the situation, and I'm sure they will manage to get their players/staff off on as light as they can...
