    I reckon Flanno might move Val to fullback before Sloan. 100% agree that Sloan should've come through NSW cup on the wing before 1st grade. We keep forcing it with Sloan instead of letting him develop like we've done with other younger players in NSW cup.

    Most teams kick for field position. The Bulldogs do it expertly, kick to a corner then chase hard. We're doing the same but without a similar effectiveness. The inability of our halves to maintain composure in the final 20mins & choke under pressure is worrying.

    Hope Lawrie & Sloan are dropped. Potentially Illias too but don't think Glover will be any better, potentially worse with a worse kicking game. I'm happy to watch, read, listen to dragons fans supporter groups/people but the some blokes on mad dragon podcast defending blake lawrie are crazy...

    Can't afford to have wingers who can't kick return effectively. We get a roll on then sloan takes a hit up & gets pushed back or slows down the play the ball. We've got wingers who can kick return effectively. Pick him.

    Sloan kick returns are dog shit & then can't finish off tries. He isn't a winger. Dragons fans have pandered to him for far too long. Honestly would be stuck in reserve grade anywhere else.

    We should utilise this more in our upcoming matches, especially Gutho linking with Sloan who has the pace to exploit short side gaps. I think it would add another variety in our attack. We like hitting our edges since it's our strength, why not double down especially if say the ctr is caught out...
