Single Seats only for the Panthers Dogs game today...had to buy GA tickets and hope for a seat. Should be a pretty good crowd I think.

    Crowd Watch 2014

Tigers coming off a win will surely want to show their support and should bring 10k themselves. Tbh I think it should be getting closer to 30k if not over but reducing my expectations a bit. I think panthers and dogs on sat should definately crack 15k. 4.30pm time slot is very convenient (after...

To be fair the Anzac Day game in Melbourne has drawn very good crowds coming directly after the afl next door. I believe it was around 20k last year??

    Next Australian captain?

I think Clarke will play on until the next ashes series over here so still 4 more years yet. Don't think we'll have a ponting scenario with Clarke where he loses the captaincy and still plays. By then I'd say smith will 100% be ready, as long as we don't drop him if he has a couple of poor tests

Wouldn't be surprised if dogs beat that tomorrow night. Pretty embarrassing crowd considering they got 59k last year. Less than half of that for a rd 1 blockbuster. 40k shoulda been the bare minimum. Think that spells the end of Thursday nights rd 1, and possibly even the souths roosters...

3rd Test: South Africa v Australia at Cape Town Mar 1-5, 2014

Worth something ridiculous like giving Rogers or even haddin an over? Could get in the batsmans head maybe

3rd Test: South Africa v Australia at Cape Town Mar 1-5, 2014

We could have set them 300 and they would have played for the draw. Makes me think we shoulda enforced the follow on

3rd Test: South Africa v Australia at Cape Town Mar 1-5, 2014

Hayden, Langer, Ponting, Martyn, Clarke, Hussey, Gilchrist were all roughly in the same side at one point and all averaged high 40s or more.

    2014 memberships

Bulldogs increased the GA ticket price by +50% after losing our star and most marketable player. Not to mention not coming off one of the best seasons. I think we are a bit optimistic hoping for 20k this year. Especially when you also need to pay another $200 odd if you want parking. Will be...

    Public Transport to ANZ Stadium

Direct trains from central - you beauty. I often work in the city and go to the game straight from work. Catching 3 trains is a pain in the ass and takes over an hour for a 15-20 minute trip. Good stuff, make it easier for people to get from the city and that will boost crowds for sure.

2nd Test: South Africa v Australia at Port Elizabeth Feb 20-24, 2014

Can't believe we have Lyon bowl 46 overs picking up 5 wickets and then send him out in bad light to face half an hour of the best bowling line up in the world bowling 150k bouncers at him. And he stands his ground too - our batsmen need to have a good look at themselves. We need a bit of...

Best nights out on the piss

Ok so I've thrown back a couple of beers tonight and reflecting on the fact that I'm getting old lol. Was thinking about some of the random nights I've had out on the piss and damn there has been a few, some of which I can't really talk about haha but was just wondering what everyone else has...

    Bbl03 2013/2014

Loved this season even though I'm not a fan of t20 cricket. The oldies still playing and mixing it with the young guys is top notch. Ch 10 has done a wonderful job. Cannot wait for next season now. Only complaint was the week off between the season and the finals. Completely killed the momentum...

Would be interesting to see if the big man kasiano gets a run. With 9 players surely no teams could number up on him and with his offload and size would be very hard to sto. Interesting to see how it all plays out really
