    Similar situation with NBA coverage. With my pay tv sports package I get 2-3 games a week, however I can subscribe to NBA TV and get every match if I choose, so the pay tv rights are not exclusive. This would work if the RLIF was able to negotiate

    Shortening the NRL season

    30 rounds is stupid. The NFL has 16 rounds in the regular season with every game an event. 26 is too long, and needs to be dropped back with the 'missing' rounds filled with rep footy.

    Always feel sorry for Graham at the end of big games, he is up there with Thurston as being one of the biggest competitors in Rugby League - tries his ring out every time he steps on the field.

    Some of the attacking footy from Eng backline was breathtaking, they just seem to be missing something as a team. They are so close, and stacks of young players coming through. Can't wait for the three game series in 2015. Hopefully the RFL think big in terms of stadiums etc.

    The English halves pairing looks like it could be around for while, we know what Widdop can do and that's dominate the NRL, Smith has looked classy in this Four Nations and is a keeper. Sneyd not up to International standard, defence is horrible.
