    In terms of player retention he's taken a strategic view of the club and is already building on a pretty good dvpt programme throughout the grades. Getting Peter Nolan to help manage recruitment from the Broncos is proving to be a good move too. PL

    Poching POTY for Vulcans but still no sign of any contract in either NZ or Oz. However, with Gavet probably on to Oz Upu MIGHT be thrown a lifeline by the Warriors if they need back up for the incumbant 4-prop rotation. Upu was POTY and James was named to NSW Cup Team (check out Cup website)...

    Thanks AliN; The start of the game was 'eerily-freaky' - dark, gloomy and that heavy as downpour was a strange was to start the game. They kept the floodlights on even when the sun came out lol.
