Let Gavet go IMO
its probably best for his development and pathway

Sign up Agnatius Paasi on a 2nd tier contract
or sign a local prop from NZ Residents side playing on Sunday.

Like Manu Mau or Suia Matagi.

Interesting... There'd still probably be cap space for the bunnies to sign both providing they let a few go at the end of the season

Sharks fan's are desperate for them to sign Inu but are also saying Ropati is a target too. I call Bull$h%*.

Sharks can have Inu. I reckon that would be the worst place for him, as if he's not already unmotivated.

Quote from someone involved at the Warriors that I spoke to yesterday..'he's like an eight year old'.

Some pretty damn fine moves for an 8 year old.

'Natius is very talented and wouldn't play him at prop; he's a secondrower IMO. Interesting to see his bro Samasoni has trimmed right down from when he was with Warriors junior prog.

I would like nothing better than to see Manu Ma'u get contracted...he's a brilliant prospect; watched him player for Residents today versus NZ Maori!

I rest my case.

Dear Krisnan -- I look up, and see a bunch of haters, hating on you, because all they got is hate. I don't get it myself, but no worries. Enjoy relaxing in the off season, despite what the haters imply.

best regards,

Warriors season member,

I'm fairly certain that's not what he was referring to. I couldn't care less how much talent he has, he doesn't use it.

Really? I thought he was our best outside back till he got dropped, and then was good on his returns to FG minus the Dragons game.

I see someone looking at clouds when they should be in England. But that's just me. Unless there's a good explanation for that, and I'm led to believe there isn't, that's what's clinched it for me.

I reckon if I search through my old posts, there would be a hell of a lot supporting Inu. Great talent, had some fine moments in 2011. Not worth the rocks, in my opinion.

Y'know, players opt out of tours for non-injury related reasons all the time. Every time it's reported that such-and-such has 'withdrawn for personal reasons' or 'declared themselves unavailable' that pretty much means they could be on tour/in the squad, but have decided not to.

And i bet he's not the only player missing from this squad who could be there.

Sorry PW, I was just being cheeky -- I didn't mean anything by it. The explanation of looking after his partner was enough for me; but I don't think these guys need an explanation. If they're not up to it, physically, mentally, it can be a positive for them to step aside.

I'll reserve my judgment till I see him play next year.
That will be make or break time for him.

Do I take it nobody wants to see Hopoate here?

No no, not at all - I'm all for the guys defending Inu. I was the same at the start of the year, I remember my blood boiling on a work trip as I listened to Veitch and McGahan slate him on the basis of one lazy run v the Cowboys (?) and suggesting he should be dropped. I think that was part on the basis it was completely uncalled for, partly that those two guys hardly have a leg to stand on when it comes to the fallacies of others.

I've probably been far too harsh. I just see a talent wasted, and would rather see Omar/Tupou/Fish given the chance.

And I'm sure everyone would love to see Hopoate here, but he's signed to Parra right?

Hopoate is contracted for when he returns from chasing god around the islands - yes.

Inu's (supposed) lack of intensity never really bothered me until I saw in the Grand Final what he can do when he fires up a bit. I still consider him a fantastic player, but the point is he could be better.

In all honesty, if Omar gets a shot on the wing during the pre-season and plays well, I'd give him first dibbs on a wing spot.
