    Saints Problem

Well, the Seasons over boys. What do we think the "new" problems are. I think the main one was injuries, but you can't really stop that. Anything else?

    Saints Problem

In 2002 I started up this thread because I thought we needed to verify what the problem was with the Saints side, now we are almost half way through the 2003 season, how do you guys feel now? Do you think we have verified the problems?

    Head cam?

Hey, Sorry about the lateness in reply, anyhow, Yes, Willow, it was a headcam you saw in the chairty shield, although it was an exhibition match, at halftime of one of the lower grade games. Basically, they came on, there were no hard tackles, runs, infact, there weren't any scrums. Noone...

In consultation with his assistant, former champion five-eighth...

    2003 Draw

I think we can snatch 10 points from the first 5 rounds, I think we'll snatch four points from Raiders, with Daley now coaching aswell, anyone else have any other predictions? Saints to Win 2003! :D

    Saints sign Hassan Saleh

When Tingha came from Roosters, I don't remember everyone being so excited. I think the Saints create good players from potential, Gasnier, Barrett, Blacklock, etc. I think it will be a similar case with Hassan, work on his defence a little, brush up on attack, he will be great for the team.

    Saints sign Hassan Saleh

Hey guys, Just wondering, is Saleh good under the high ball and is his defence any good? I can imagine Gaz and Haz(Look it rhymes!:D) speeding away for tries, but will he add anything defensively? He seems like a promising player.. no matter what anyone thinks, and only time will tell...

    Saints Problem

I think Kite or Tutt will take the Lock position, with the other shifting into the second row, unless John Cross signs, also I think that if Byrne can build himself up a bit over the offseason he will be a good halfback for next year, I've got a feeling this youngster will click straight into...

    Saints Problem

Unsure, It wasn't Langer as he was in England in 2000, and I thought Walters was a 5/8. This may be an example of a team that won without a good halfback. They used "monster ball" alot, which is a move where basically they get the ball to all the big forwards in a set of six, and they just...

    Saints Problem

Who was the halfback in Bronco's 2000 win?

Hmm, if you were the Saints sports psych what would you say?

    Saints Problem

G'day Benny, I think pretty much everything you've said there is accurate, I think Amos can play a "Gasnier-like" roll, where he will be able to play dummy half and make big bursts, like we saw him do against the Bulldogs in the last round last year, also I think he would have a Peachey like...

    Saints Problem

Hey Willow, heh, no I didn't know we had another celebrity in the Saints camp, I thought we left that to "The Man" :)

    Saints Problem

G'day Noodles, Thanks for the welcome, and there's no other team in the NRL I would rather go for than the dragons. I think it also may have a fair bit to do with match fitness, I know this may sound odd, but seeing we're usually buggered in the last 10 of each half, fitness is the only...

    Saints Problem

Heya Willow, Yep you're correct I saw that on Eye on Saints, I wasn't aware of his background though, also were you aware that Reece Simmonds has played at halfback in the past? Although I doubt his prospects at fullback, heh. I heard Dean Byrne really cut up Brothers Valley and got...

    Saints Problem

Hey Willow, On the Ashton Sims thing, I think I've seen him play in the Nutrigrain cup, also I'm not sure if I'm correct in saying this but most halfbacks can play at 5/8 as they're pretty similar positions where the main function is ball distribution and a good kicking game, as we saw with...

    Saints Problem

np Willow. If Choc were to come back, I wouldn't necessarily slot him straight back into 5/8, I think at most if he wanted to make a comeback would that he might snatch the #7 spot. Blacklock coming back would add great depth to our squad, but one thing I have noticed is one year our...

    Saints Problem

Hey, It's good to see someone's awake. :D That side looks pretty good, but with the rumoured signing of John Cross, my side might be a tiny bit different. Although I was amazed to see you put Reece Simmonds in at fullback, and Hornby out of the side as when me and my mates are having a chat...
