    No that's correct. We got very close in 2013 and 2003 and 2004 were pretty decent too, but yeah averaging 20k+ has only occurred in the new stadium.

    Re. the Roosters and the membership, it'd be nice to get to the Swans' number of members but we're hamstrung a little by SFS members who are majority Rooster fans but are never going to buy a Roosters membership. I guess the Swans have a similar issue but I just don't see us getting to those...

    3 - Gus 2 - Sitili 1 - Butcher Thought Ted was strong as always, as was Collins in his first stint. My brother reckons he'd heard during the week that Cheese had a calf complaint. Who knows, just hope it's nothing sinister in it and that he hasn't been playing up again.

    That last Canberra game will be a chance to farewell JWH, Manu, Keary and Suuali'i so there's an opportunity for a good crowd then too, although Fathers Day doesn't help.

    Yeah it was p*ssing down as I drove to the game, and anecdotally I know it kept a few away (like a few of my very soft mates). 28 - 30k would've been great but 23k still looked and felt great being out there.

    My kids play and are able to get a free ticket to any game in any round and I just tried to get those and it said the allocation has been exhausted. Not sure what that means in terms of total crowd but it's looking like it'l be decent. Hope the weather holds off.

    General Roosters chatter

    Yeah a legend Brian. Some my earliest memories as a fan is of him leading the charge in the Turner Stand at the old Sports Ground. Very sad but I know he was quite ill for a few years now. Hope he's now at peace.
