Tom Jenkins is coming back to the Penrith system - not Top 30 - but can be called upon if injuries etc. Not sure how all that works - maybe Blade can fill in - but told he is glad to be back. P.S. - Pickers won their first Group 9 GF for 33 years last week, so has been a big week celebrating.

Josh Addo Carr drug testing controversy

Might as well chase the May brothers as well. Home for lost souls now Benny has arrived.

I'll find out where Jenkins is off to and let you know. Cherrypickers are in the GF on Sunday in Wagga. The town hasn't won a first grade comp since 1991 (nearly as bad as the slimeys) so hoping the boys can get the job done and it will be a couple of days of sickies.

Josh Addo Carr drug testing controversy

Agree - not sure why the drama, as there would be a significant number on the nose beers. Rightly or wrongly - not judging. Trying to hide it will cost him.

    Round 21 v Dragons

Luai looks like he has picked up a bit of zip over 10 metres too. When he goes, he really accelerates quickly and allows him to break free of the line. Maybe he had it before, but noticing last few games that when he decides to go he is pretty quick.

    Rumoured & Confirmed Signings - Part 5

So anyone with talent. Wonder why they aren't knocking Parra's door down.

    Rumoured & Confirmed Signings - Part 5

Prop - Moses/Henry/ Smith/Patea/(Martin/Sorro) 2nd Row - (Martin/Sorro)/Garner/Papali'i Don't think we can afford another prop who would be starting, (can't promise that with Henry/Smith completing their apprenticeships) so difficult to get anyone of quality to sit on the bench.

    Rumoured & Confirmed Signings - Part 5

1 + 1 = 3. They will be in a world of hurt if this were true, as enticing someone to break a contract is harshly treated, although difficult to prove.

    Round 20 v Dolphins

Did anyone else notice that after the warm up of the "left side" v "right side" he called them all into a circle and was not pleased with something. He was pointing at players and punching his palm to make his point. 1st game back and he was making sure they lifted standards - although it...

Would a "Designated Player" system be beneficial for the NRL?

We could pay Cleary $10M a year and Cleary could then employ the following on the basis they play for the minimum with the Panthers Critter - $1M to clean his boots Luai - $1M a year to drive him to games Api - $1M to clean his house and we would have never lost a player.

    Rumoured & Confirmed Signings - Part 5

They have said they will be based at Cairns. Unfortunately New World Order that dollars dictate everything, so if the Government are going to throw dollars at it, to keep PNG happy in the Pacific, I'd rather it went to League than fumbleball or just plain wasted.

My thoughts on the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal

You're too clever. To say Storm had the best team without worrying about a salary cap (like everyone else had to) is foolish. Don't think you will find too many sympathizers on here.

My thoughts on the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal

I do feel sorry for the Storm players through this period. It was never explained to them why they all signed 2 contracts, had boats and caravans arrive in their driveways, when they never paid or requested these. They were totally oblivious and uniformed by their Board.
