Sargent in the wars: Prop in new battle after serious bouts of pneumonia

I think he was underused by Smith. He played in fifteen minute spells before he was taken off, which i think was more Smith's gameplans than Sargent's match fitness.

    Naiqama and McManus first Priorities

I still think Vuna deserves a wing spot. I really dont see Mad Dog doing much this year to be honest.

    Super coach does it again?

Hagan has a fresh side and a new gameplan. He gets the ball rolling forward through mobile forwards before the freaks in the backline such as Hayne and Inu take over. But teams will eventually work this out and find out ways to combat such tactics. Hagan will have no back-up, and this is when he...

    Riley Brown?

Captained Premier League, played a number of first grade games in a variety of positions. But hasn't done much to confirm that he is a genuine first grader. He could make it as a ballplaying lock but his defence at times just doesnt really cut it. Though he did score a rather impressive run-away...

PL side V Parra - finals week 2

Oh well, gone from all three grades now. If only Season 08 could come quicker...

    Super coach does it again?

Yeah i really dont see the Storm losing another game, though id much rather the trophy come back to New South Wales.

    Worst Knight line up

I don't think Hall was that bad, surely not as bad as the other wingers that have been mentioned. He did score that match winning try when Bedsy threw that cut-out pass, added a bit of a ninja roll after it. Though i can't remember who we played in that game.

    Scotty Durreau

Some great news there. I was scared the Roosters were going to poach him and it would be Anthony Tupou all over again, but the odds look good of him staying.

    Milton Fell Off The Wagon

Very interesting indeed. Don't know what is going on within the club but it was surprising that the club didn't act seeing Thaiday was quite a player when hitting his straps. What is happening with Thaiday for next year anyway?

Vuna is something if the service is good

I'm really liking the sounds of Uate and Vuna being our wingers for next year. Both big powerful and fast, something that we have lacked on the wings for quite a while. If only season 08 could come quicker.

    Great Video!

More good news - Mullen extends his contract

This is great news for the club. And i agree, signing up that Jersey Flegg team must be the most important thing to do within the club.

OK, let's get the off-season started

Yeah i really have no idea what Smith will do with the side next year. A lot of new faces who will be looking to impress Smith in the off-season to earn a starting spot for next year. At least the complacency is gone from the club now, and the competition for spots will only make every single...

    3 Knights in Train-On Squad

I think they deserve to be there.

    Kidley - last 10 minutes

I think he needs to get back into the dummy half spot. He was so effective running from dummy half earlier in the year and im surprised he hasn't picked up the ball and run in recent weeks. He has this incredible ability to always beat the first defender and all he needs is a bit of space and he...

    Abraham May Stay

If he can shed some of that extra weight in the offseason he could certainly revive his career. He certainly has always had the ball skills but his lack of mobility has been letting him down since coming back from injuries.

Club that runs a paper's news list

    HAHA the hypocrisy amazes me!

    Newcastle boss backs Smith

Same here. Scared the sh*t out of me. And hopefully it does payoff, especially on the injury front.

Do You Agree With What Smith Has Done?

We KB has a logical argument, but sacking the coach would do us no favours. He has already signed a bunch of players and he obviously has something in mind with what to do with the team for coming years. Sacking Smith now would leave us in a precarious position of having a new coach and...
