Farah?

Replace Gidley with a REAL utility.... Luke Lewis. Excellent form, great defender, and not a pussy when it come to injury.

Oh please,30-0 and it was all the refs fault?
Blues didn't seem to have a problem with him in game 1..

Blues were outplayed and shown for really what they are - The Queensland side heavily underachieved in game 1 - It wasn't going to happen a second time.

Brett White and Steve Turner = myths

brett white and steve turner=bellamys pets....I will never understand how turner got picked for origin, i know the reason (if I didnt make it clear, bellamy being coach=turner being in the side), but I cant understand why you would do it

I already posted this in another thread but I'l say it again...i dont think there needs to be mass changes for nsw, just a few key ones, i reckon this is the way to go, even though its only a few hours after game 2

stewart
hayne (or possibly monnas if hayne is not fit, not turner, he's crap)
cooper
gasnier
quinn
anasta
wallace
white
buderus
bailey
hoffman
gallen
bird

mason
lewis
laffranchi
kite

gidley is either fullback or nothing because he got hammered everytime and took the wrong options in attack on a few occasions, lewis offers more utility value and is tougher in defence
side needs more props, as seen through the dropping of fitzy (he was ok though, but he aint a prop), simpson (shouldn't have been called up), and tupou and the reinstatement of kite and bailey
f**k off bellamys pet in turner and get a decent player in there
put an actual 5/8th and not a forward in the 5/8th role

I honestly can't see a decision Archer got wrong, apart from giving the Blues a scrum feed when the knocked on first.

Anyway, if NSW want any chance they need to name the following team:

1. Brett Stewart
2. Joel Monaghan
3. Mark Gasnier
4. Jamie Lyon (as much as I hate the prick... he's played bloody well lately)
5. Anthony Quinn
6. Braith Anasta
7. Todd Carney
8. Luke Bailey
9. Robbie Farah
10. Brent Kite
11. Anthony Watmough
12. Craig Fitzgibbon
13. Greg Bird

14. Jason Ryles
15. Anthony Laffranchi
16. Willie Mason
17. Luke Lewis

Knock-ons and rakes were all adjudicated in QLD's favour - if QLD lost it he awarded a penalty against NSW, if NSW lost it, he ruled knock on - many replays confirming those problems.

The biggest error which would've killed NSW was the missing of the blatant forward pass for Darius' second try. The pass was CLEARLY forward with Archer in an ample position to see and decide on it.

The refereeing was ordinary, there's no two ways about it.

I thought Archer had a great game. Your whinging about the referees is getting old fast mate. Just accept the fact that if NSW were any good, they would have won bad referee or not.

I don't think anybody is debating the defensive deficiencies displayed by NSW last night... some of the positional choices and selections were ordinary - many will be shocked if Turner plays wing again and I'm certain we'll see Bailey in the #8 in three weeks time, but that didn't stop Hometown Archer buckling as he normally does under a Queensland crowd.

I thought you'd appreciate the irony. Actually I was parroting what you and others have said to me a few times this year. If you actually believed those words then you would do well to heed them.

I was embarrassed last night, absolutely embarrassed. Gutless, heartless, f*cking disgusting effort from NSW. Gidley, Topou, White, should all go. And lets not forget Steve "I offer nothing in attack or defence" Turner. One of the worst Origin debuts of all time. I hope he remember his first and last Origin game.

Archer favoured Qld big time but I had a feeling that'd happen when they had a go at him in the media pre-match. It's silly to suggest he cost us the game because our attack was absolutely inept. Even when we were down 12 points, 18 points there was no lateral movement.. I thought when you're down you try something different to get some points on the board? Pathetic, it really showed up Bird- he can't kick and is NOT a five-eighth. Stewart and Fitzy were outstanding last night, as were Cooper and Quinn. Big changes needed for Sydney-we need a pivot desperately and we need to create a hell of a lot more set plays, backline movements.. something!

Qld fans are saying how they "underachieved" in game I but the reality is they were strangled out of the game by brilliant defence and good intensity. The blues were horrible last night-they're the only ones who have underachieved so far this series

Oh it was clear as day you were parroting.

Where we differ is that I don't believe there's some great conspiracy against my club or state - I just think the standard of refereeing is terrible in the game as it stands and I believe it cost the Bulldogs an opportunity of victory last weekend, and entitled Queensland to at least six points they did not earn last night (if not more).

That's all, no conspiracy - just poor refereeing.

I've never mentioned a conspiracy either, just that the Raiders continually seem to be on the receiving end of bad calls. But for it to be a conspiracy, you'd first have to admit that the referees as a group were intelligent enough to co-ordinate such an act and that would be giving them far too much credit.

As opposed to buckling under a crowd of NSWankers last time round? Lucky you've got two games down there this year.
