This reminded me a lot of the game against the Broncos earlier in the year. We just let in too many soft tries, it's as simple as that. The Tigers weren't at their best yet still managed to put 38 points on us which is dissapointing. I expected to lose but I think this has been our worst performance to date. As for the people who are whinging about the calls that went against us, we should have played well enough not to let that affect us, we didn't.

Thats a bit harsh, worse preformance to date.

Tigers had Marshall and Farah coming back and you blokes had Buderous and Gidley out pretty important players.

I thought our defence was absolute garbage, softer than sorbent.

Yet our f**king defensive coach continues to be employed.

Defense went out the window for both teams, the coaches and fans of both teams arent happy, yet it would imo have been the most entertaining game of the round

turning point in the match undoubtedbly was in the 48th minute. Knights led 22-16, put a bomb up, whoever the Tigers winger was got in a mix up with hodgson, took the ball infront of hodgson after hodgson touched it, hence shouldve been a penalty to the Knights for offside. Knights wouldve either taken a penalty goal from 20m infront, or gone for a tap, which wouldve put the Tigers under a lot of pressure, since the Knights came out firing in the 2nd half.

Instead, on the same set of 6, Benji Marshall gets a 40/20, deep into our territory. Tigers score to level it at 22-all, and from there on in, they built a lot of momentum which eventually wore us down in the end.

Otherwise, a great game, especially with Buderus, Cross, Hilder and Gidley out. Without Hilder there (who was very good against the Titans when Buderus was out), we were easily exploited up the middle of the ruck. Not only to mention Adam MacDougall's side of the field. Fair enough, he set up a great try for Chris Bailey, but that was negated by the 4 he let in his side of the field. Opposition sides have noted this: When Doogs plays, they always run plays down his side of the field, as his defense leaves a lot to be desired for.

Stop whining. Some of you guys make us look worse than Raiders fans. We lost to a better team in a game that was consistently well reffed. I was more impressed with Benji than I've been in a long time. Full credit to the Tigers, a better team when it counted.

pretty disappointed to see a lot of our fans whinging about the ref in here. there were some shocking misses by the officials... but in no way did they cost us the match. our defence was soft with key personnel missing, simple as that.

it's one thing for the tigers to get a couple of good calls for them, but we still let them over the tryline way too many times. bad refereeing decisions shouldn't equal poor defence. well done to the tigers team... at full strength they can beat anyone on their day.

1. Hodgeson

6. Marshall
7. Head

9. Farah

that's a bloody classy spine.

The only wrong call that stood out for me was when Mullen got penalised for falling over in playing the ball, and then Hodgson did exactly the same thing and the Tigers scored off the next play.

But Tigers were better yesterday.

Hardly complaining about the ref. I am just pointing out that it wasn't a good performance if you let shockers like the ones I mentioned go.

It's pretty obvious that he didn't cost us the game, so stop acting all high and mighty. I can only see two complaining thoroughly and well.. it's RABK and Holla, lol.

it was a much better performance from the officials than what we've been dished up the last few weeks. much better. we absolutely, 100% definitely, indisputably lost this game on our own shortcomings. this hasn't been the case for us all year, but it is certainly the case this week. we simply weren't good enough without our key players.

i don't know how our defence softened so drastically in the space of a week... but i guess you just can't underestimate how much buderus organises our defence... you can't underestimate how important kidleys kick returns are... etc... etc... etc...

Losing Buderus, Cross and Hilder all in the same week didn't help
