To be fair to the Warriors they're missing Price, Mckinnon, Vatuvei, Witt and who else. They're away form is shocking but these are influential players and also talkers on the field I think. Penrith on the other hand were missing Petero but had pretty much everyone else, our team structure looks pretty good as it relates to our game plan. Not sure what the Warriors game plan is. Sad because I enjoy watching a Warrior team in form.

We are missing those players, but it doesn't mean we should be falling over and conceding an average of 40+ on the road. If anything, missing those players would mean we lose the tight ones.

Panthers are an exciting team. Priddis is past his best, but if he gets going from dummy-half, he will set the team alight. They have players who are genuine finishers in Gordon, Jennings, Rooney, Wesser and a go-to guy in Petero (when playing). If only they kept Wallace I guess

McKinnon, Price, Witt, Tate, Vatuvei. Fai and Ropati first games back. Hopefully Tate will pull through Origin and Price will return next week with Witt. I don't hold much hope for Rovelli getting dropped though.

What are our options though? Witt at 7, who at 6? Fien? JRo?

Surely it's time to give Fein another crack at halfback. Can't do much worse. Witt is a 6 and Ropati is a centre. Also means more game time for Henderson who has been bloody good lately.

And we actually need to defend properly away from home for starters.

I don't see what difference Fien will make at 7 for you guys . He was worse than Rovelli when he was at 7 a few years back.

Good win, dissapointed that we took our foot off the accelerator in the last 20 but won't complain.

Biggest concern from Penrith's persepctive is that two wins with lewis at half means elliott is likely to keep naming him there and against the top teams we'll get murdered.

He wasn't THAT bad was he? Or am I just remembering history how I want to remember it. Either way, I still think he deserves another crack. It's been a couple of years since he played there, so maybe he's got really really good all of a sudden. :sarcasm:

But really, I just don't think we really have a choice. Well actually, maybe when Price comes back, he can play 7. If we're going to play without a halfback, we might as well put a big forward out there with the 7 on his back instead

Sure injuries can effect the sides results, but injuries should never effect a sides ticker

The Warriors had none today until behind by 40. Their 1st set in defence showed that

That forward pass in the lead up to one of the early tries was so forward it was almost laughable.

Frank Pritchard had a field day today.

Not to mention that Lewis is not going to be with us next year. FFS, we need to start building an effective halves combination for the future. How the f*ck can we do this when Elliot insists leaving Jarrod playing for Windsor??
