Yeah, Matai was about the only good thing about that match. It was when he had a ponytail going but it came undone and he suddenly became another player :p

He's got a habit of playing well in bad sides. He was all over Folau in the Grand Final too. Shame about the rest of those blowhards...

How do you Saints fans put up with him ?
 Doust.

A lot of us have absolutely no time for Doust what so ever. I myself consider the man to be a BUFFOON !!! Mr.Tired and Emotional. :alcho:

The Dragons have to be 100% tonight to get over Manly. If Cooper is out I think we'll do it real tough.

Lyon and Matai vs. Gasnier and Cooper should be worth the price of admission alone.

There's conflicting reports everywhere re Cooper, and even one saying Cooper will play but Hornby is out. As usual, they couldn't tell their cakehole from their clacka, both are full of sh!t.

Cooper may not play tbh...
Heard that on the radio this morning as well.

The way Josh Morris has played the last few weeks, he may be easily covered. It'll still be a huge matchup.

This game will be won with the forward packs though IMO. If the dragons allow the manly pack to get a roll on, then the silvertails will win easily. If the packs play a pretty even match, the Dragons probably have more potency in their backline than Manly IMO.

Kicking games will also obviously be crucial, with two of the best exponents of short kicks in the game playing tonight.

Manly by 30. Not the same team that capitulated miserably to Saints in previous years. That said Saints always have miserable starts to the year and could kick on.

For those who missed it, Manly have just beaten Auckland in a fast-finishing encounter.

Michael Crockett scored in the corner in the final seconds but the Sea Eagles escaped, largely due to Jeff Robson's field goal four minutes from time.

The final score: 37-34 (Manly six tries, six goals, one field goal; Auckland six tries, five goals)

HALF TIME
What a half from the Sea Eagles! They have been all over their opponents and have dominated in every facet of the match.

We should have had more points but a few mistakes have kept the Dragons in the game.

TRY DRAGONS. Great pass from lock Matt Mundine puts no.18 Clifford Morris over.
CONVERSION SUCCESSFUL. Matt Mundine adds the extras, giving the Dragons the lead for the first time.
