Luke O'Donnell has been sent off in a DISGRACEFUL call from the touchie....was worth a penalty and a report, nothing more. **** technique....but the touchie has said, and I quote "player in possession, raised elbow, hit face, intentional"....
No I can't blame the ref, he did what he was informed was necessary with an incident he didn't see. But the touchie was dreaming....and O'Donnell rightly let him know it.
Hard to call it intentional but O'Donnell did the same thing in the first half to Priddis. O'Donnell is a dog but penalty and a few weeks on the sideline sufficient
Was LOD warned for the first incident on Priddis? If so it could be considered a repeat offence and that could mean a sin binning. Otherwise a penalty and a warning. But the touchie gave the ref no choice. When a touchie makes a report like that the ref basically has to send him off.
