I turned it over to Australia/France in union, im being dead serious.
So you watched a game of union rather than a game of league. You say more about yourself than anything I can add. I'm sure Fitzy would love you.

have never turned off a rugby league match for any other sport until tonight.
Now we both know that's a lie.

Ive never seen such a one sides display by all officials.
I agree, Saints should have been allowed to win by 50. Bloody ref!

Really? In some quarters you might be accused of showing 'bias'. Personally, I call it a point of view.

but tonight i actually tipped them
I doubt that very much.

One of the worst reffing of a game i have ever seen, newcastle didnt stand a chance with the officials the way they were. grats to the dragons anyways.

I hope Smith rips into Hampstead , two weeks in a row of inept performances , Cooleys decision was woeful as well , Newcastle were ripped off big time , but to add insult he allowed Newcastles last try WTF ? feeling sorry for them I guess

Hampstead shoudl never ref 1sts again - watch Finch come out in support

Some f**king dud calls for newcastle....that pass for the try in the corner was nowhere near forward.

As a Knights supporter, its gutwrenching to see yet another game where we get dud decisions from the referee. However, in saying that, the Dragons deserved to win, but the scoreline should've been a lot closer than the final outcome. If that try was allowed in the 69th min, it would've been 24-14 with a kick to come and would've made a very interesting final 10 mins. The turning point for mine was the Dragons scoring tries in both sides of halftime. That was the backbreaker, IMO. I would've been inclined to go for a penalty goal twice: Firstly, when the Knights were down 2-0 in the 24 min mark and got a penalty infront of goal, when nothing much was happening in the game and secondly, just before halftime, when they were down 8-0. Going 8-2 into the break would've given the Knights a lot of confidence and reassurance, knowing they were only a converted try down. Instead, Dragons scored to make it 14-0 and the game slowly started to slip out of KNights hands.

Dureau should've been brought on earlier and given more game time. His impact was immediately felt when he came onto the field and proved to be a handy attacking option.

I think its pretty obvious my hatred for the Dragons but tonight i actually tipped them and it is better for the Eels if Knights were to lose.

You were frustrated by the refereeing so you changed to a game of rugby union - WTF? :sarcasm:

Ah man, that was a sh*t game to sit through. We threw that game away with lack of execution in the first half and some defensive lapses; I can't believe Gidley was playing a hooker role as opposed to fullback, but ah well.

And yeah, as Knights fan, I thought the refereeing was atrocious, mainly to us. I could tell the last try awarded to us was a complete square-up. I have never EVER heard the "bullsh*t" chant so loud at an NRL ground, wow.

Willow mate, I am not sure if you're too bright, or if you're just trolling (bit of an odd thing to do as an admin) . Some of the calls against us were atrocious. No Knights fan, or any other fan, is blaming the ref for the tries that we quite simply were not good enough to prevent. You remind me of the Manly and Tiger's fans when someone puts 2 - 3 Knights players in their NSW suggestions; "lul y dun u jus selct hole nitez team". We ARE blaming the ref for some decisions and obviously it's not only us "bitter" knights fans that see it that way.

Congrats Dragons on the win, it was nice to see a good opposition crowd at the ground. We didn't play well enough to beat you but the lack of Buderus and the some horrible decisions against us certainly didn't help.

sAINTS DID SEEM TO GET THE 50/50S THIER way looking at it impartially, a fairly good game, Dell noticeably running out of puff late in the game

Well, well, well. What a surprise. The teams don't decide another game of rugby league and the officials do. Hampstead has no idea on the concept of the rules, Phil Cooley's eyes are painted on, as are Jeff Younis's. Suck it up Dragons fans, what goes around comes around and with a bit of luck it'll decide your season like it has ours :)

Oh by the way, Mullen has been awesome in cover defence this year. You could tell how much effort it took to push Dell over the sideline
