All I was saying was that Vatuvei was, as described pre-match, dreadful with his hands.

Two good tries, sure, but woeful handling most of the day.

Vatuvei had a few handling errors today. But at the same time, he was a big handful for the Eels. And that is why he will always get selected. Especially if he keeps scoring 2 tries per game.

With Vatuvei, you just have to take them as they come.

Why doesn't Manu get considered for other positions, like a quick forward or something?
He sure doesn't lack size.

Put him in a position where he does not have that kind of pressure.
1/6,bloody hell my tips suck!

Pretty sure Manu had the ball stripped prior to Reddy's try tbh. Also couldn't believe Hayne quickly ruling out Ropati's try without even having a look, and ruling out Manu's hat-trick on a forward pass, but turned a blind eye to about 5,000 Eels forward passes. Feleti Mateo seems to think the only way he can put anyone into a gap is if the guy runs into the gap, past the defence, and then he passes it to him.

The touch judge called that by not moving from the spot...

He called alot of eels passes even one where the touchie had a better view and didnt call it...

Cant believe the vid ref gave Manu's 2nd try tbh

Why? Had you paid him off or something?

And both Warriors tries ruled out for forward passes were pretty much spot on IMO

I'd love to see him running around in the second row, which would also take off most of the pressure of catching the ball.

I guess it's just the fact that Vatuvei is still young and the Warriors have a lot of back rowers in their ranks. All it's going to take is more work on his technique and he will be among some of the greatest wingers in the game.

He's such a damaging runner of the football. If he is moved into the forwards, he loses the major advantages that he has, size and speed. I think it's much better that he terrorises wingers and centres rather than bashing into forwards all day

What's the streak record??? 34 or something???

Let's start talking about it when he gets up to something like 25, shall we???

You know what happened last time everyone was talking it up, don't you.

35 is the record (El Masri).

And yes, I won't mention it again until it's up to 25 in a few weeks. :)

Good stuff. I know you're a fan and all.

Witt is just a magnificent goal kicker. He's a great striker of the football. The Warriors have been pretty lucky with goal kickers during their time. Ridge, Cleary and now Witt. He's certainly shaping up to be a super-boot.
