And the thing is, we've been pretty ordinary compared to the last month's worth of football too. Not trying to take anything away from the Knights, but that's the truth.

The Raiders were ordinary againt the Broncos and that was in the last month.

The Raiders have been far too good today and we have been our own worst enemies. The penalty count alone, which were all justified, killed any chance of us winning the game.

Well it wasn't our day out there today. That try before halftime really killed off our chances and made it difficult. The errors and stupid penalties cost us and we really just gifted the Raiders field position. It was probably one of our worst performances for a while. The game itself wasn't too bad but it didn't live up to its potential.

Another thing I noticed was the referee, I didn't like how he kept stopping and starting the game to call Buderus out when he obviously had no intention of sending anyone to the bin. There is no need for countless warnings and we all know they don't have the balls to send someone to the bin.

Makes it a tough road to the finals for Newcastle now. We must win either the Storm game at home or beat the Broncos up there. That is assuming we beat the Cowboys which is no certainty on todays effort.

Congrats to the Raiders, played pretty well and made the most of our poor discipline. Will likely win all of their last 3 games and get a good position for the finals.
