Another thing I noticed was the referee, I didn't like how he kept stopping and starting the game to call Buderus out when he obviously had no intention of sending anyone to the bin. There is no need for countless warnings and we all know they don't have the balls to send someone to the bin.

And he never had to make the choice - I don't recall him penalising us again after that :lol:

not our best performance, we blew some chances in the first half, but we won and won well despite not playing our best
We missed Buttris, tongue's a good fill in hooker but we desperately missed a genuine hooker to control things

Herby and Campo are combining beautifully though. With the Butt back in next week, we're looking ace for a good semi finals showing imo

While the Raiders have a soft draw, they're slaughtering the opposition... moreso then the likes of the Sea Eagles and Storm. Dragons had a soft run and weren't too convincing in that time IMO.

But not only one team does either another 3 do too but you forget about that , and the also like to ignore the fact only 1 game was given , the other 2 games were always wins ,

How was the run soft ? the dragons had players out against storm, broncos and goldcoast

Manly had no players out and yet the dragons missing players had to back up 2 days after the state of origin and beat a full strength manly team .
Goldcoast had the same amount of players out the same as dragons , equal terms and when the dragons beat the goldcoast twice
Dragons were more likely to win against the broncos no matter not

So in fact the dragons had a harder run then most

PLayed full strength rooster while weaken and won

Played full strength goldcoast and won

Played Full strength manly and won while weaken

played goldcoast twice on equal par won both times , played broncos twice once stronger and weaker and won

Facts are teams like penrith , storm , broncos , even roosters dont have the back up players ,

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story. 2 of those teams were missing over 20 players between them. The Panthers were also missing around 10 players and you only managed to beat them by 1 point also.

The draw couldn't get any softer.

Yep, you were close (KW). I feared it happening. I wish the Knights had shown a bit more passion in this game, it could have been an entertainingly close one, but alas, it wasn't to happen and we paid for our errors.

I was more afraid of this game tbh, even though it was at home, while I think it'll be a good game, I dont think it'll be as hard a game as the newcastle one, but....ive been wrong before many a time.

I support the Raiders mate, there is still that voice in the back of my head saying there is going to be a disaster of some sorts on or off the field to ruin the season. I mean I thought the Todd Carney stuff would do it, but we managed to get through that.

I'm not taking any game for granted and Souths do worry me a little.
