here is some information for you which you will love

When Souths were excluded from the competition in 2000 the NRL made an exception for Souths players to be exempt from the cap in the first year with their new clubs.

Therefore Wing and Rubin weren't included in the Roosters 2000 cap.

It was only from 2001 onwards where confusion over "other sponsors" became a problem for Wing and the Roosters. In two years it cost us a fine of 150,000
