god damnit, twice we have thrown the ball to the other team, both of them costing us the game

What can you do.

Dicipline was our problem.

We came close, close losses suck.

I'm annoyed the guy who I said was sh*t before the game finished us off though..

Much needed victory by the boys.

We really are looking all-round average without Price, McKinnon and Ropati.

Lucky we scraped out a victory.

Props to Shortland. Made the game changing play (tackle on Gidley) which led to the bad kick and ah Van run-away.

We are, though, pretty good at home. We host the Bulldogs next week and we have to break the Price hoodoo - we haven't beaten the Bulldogs since that game in Week 1 of the finals series in 2003!

the video ref ruling on strips needs to stop immediately. they've been getting it wrong left, right and centre and it cost the knights dearly today.

warriors deserved to win, but they had a lot more help than the knights did.

Also Witty reached 500 NRL points today!

:D well done Witty

To be fair, I thought the two penalites early on that went against Newy were prety shoddy.

And I was getting rather peeved at the stop-start affair from the ref too.

Good win Warriors, it was scary esp inside the last 10minutes but a win's a win!

Good quality game IMO... good to watch. Newcastle were never in the lead but they did look good at times. Warriors got home but next week could be anything :sarcasm:

despite 2 losses, i'm very happy with the team this year, if we can get rid of the stupid penalties we should start toughing out these wins

I rate the Knights a very good chance of making the 8 this year (provided they have a good injury one for once). There's just something about them that reminds me of the Tigers in 05. Perhaps it's there forwards who don't have a high profile outside of Buderus but are yet to be dominated or take a backward step to anyone. The 1,6,7,9 are strong, and despite not have superstars at centre of wing, they've got players who know how to find the try line. If I had to pick a bolter they'd be right up there.

We couldn't have put ourselves under more pressure yet we almost got to a third golden point game. Not a bad effort considering. If I'm a Warrior fan though Price can't come back quick enough. They had enough ball and enough chances to wipe the floor with us and they just got home on the back of Witt's boot.

Unfortunately Price won't fix the schoolboy penalties the Warriors keep giving away this year, but he would calm things down when the razzle dazzle off loading begins to get too reckless. Penalties aside the forwards haven't been too bad and I'd almost prefer to have McKinnon back ahead of Price simply for the extra attacking spark that might have put the game beyond the Knights. Tough call though, McKinnon V Price, especially considering Hohaia has done a good job replacing him for someone who isn't a specialist fullback.

I think that we are in damage-control until Pricey and JRo come back.

If we can win our home games, we will have set ourselves up well for a run at the top-8
