An angry warriors side to repeat the shellacking they gave Newie Last year.

A few points to prove methinks.

Vatuvei to return to his bumbling ways and the rest of the team to step up.
Fai to rip sh*t up with his first ever start.
Swann to drop off the bench and into oblivion. Please.

Knights young halves to kick all over the Warriors and have them slashing their wrists by the end of the game.

Knights by 20. :)

Will be a good game, but I think the Knights will be properly prepared and will be looking to move on from that heartbreaker last week. Will be tight for the first 65 with the Knights scoring a few late tries to open up a comfortable win in the wash-up.

This is a reasonably hard tipping week.
I'm not convinced with either team, the Knights have been playing good football, not great but good.
Warriors...as usual they're on and off like a light switch.

The Knights just don't convince me and I think the Warriors will be looking to redeem themselves at their home ground.

Knights to get up here....

As JD said, I think it will be a tough and close 60-70 mins , then Newcastle to break away in the final 10

as was noted by someone in the knights forum earlier... i think it's a very interesting "stat" that in our last 2 losses in Auckland - one Danny Buderus did not make the trip over the tasman. we traditionally perform very well down there.

knights by plenty here. without mckinnon and price the warriors don't fill me with anything but pity.

... having said that, they're still capable of quite a lot of pain.

Heavy rain is expected over here today, with more showers tomorrow. Could be a slog-fest at Mt Smart.

Might be a chance of a storm thrown in tomorrow at Auckland too. Certainly like our chances moreso now that the conditions are likely to be a bit showery.

Koopu has dropped off the Warriors' bench and is travelling with the Vulcans.

KOOPU DROPS OFF BENCH FOR NEWCASTLE ENCOUNTER

Vodafone Warriors back row forward Wairangi Koopu has been omitted from the squad for the fourth-round NRL match against Newcastle at Mt Smart Stadium tomorrow (Sunday).
Koopu (28) was originally named on a five-man bench.
But coach Ivan Cleary released the 154-game veteran so he could travel with the Auckland Vulcans for their New South Wales Cup clash against the Newtown Jets in Sydney tomorrow.
That means for Vodafone Warriors' four interchange players against the Knights will be Ian Henderson, Evarn Tuimavave, Epalahame Lauaki and Logan Swann.
